noodengr2Aug 23, 2016have not roomed with a workmate in many years. But when i travel i often end up with random roomies and i openly sleep nude in front of them. that has worked fine until my most recent trip. there were 3 of us single guys. the norm is rotate who has the single and who shares as we switch hotels. we did that for the first 3 or 4 hotels , but after that the other 2 guys opted to give me the solo room all the time. When i asked why they said snoring and .... then did not say nudity, but sort of implied it. Oh well. I got my own room, kept my odd hours and did not disturb them. But on other trips guys have not complained. One even joined me nude most of the time, in fact even sleeping nude for the first time in his life.ReactReply - MEMemberAug 29, 2016
I love that the one guy joined you and even slept nude for the first time ever. That's great. Must have been a good bonding experience. Guys can be so insecure about their sexuality, mix that with social norms regarding nude bodies you have a lovely prude stew.

I always sleep naked, but then again, I usually travel alone :(

DavidAug 29, 2016I always sleep naked at home, but if I have to share a room, I wear a tshirt and some undies... but I take off my undies when I'm under the sheets.

JohnAug 30, 2016
I end up traveling a lot for conferences etc and often sharing a room. When I do share a room one of the first things I tell my roomie (male) is that I hope they don't mind but I always sleep naked and I hope it doesn't bother them. I have never had a negative experience and I would say that most of the time they end up relaxing about there own nudity and usually sleeping naked also. Anyone else had this experience? Also do you know if any of your friends sleep naked?
Zach
What a brilliant strategy. I have never known quite how to tackle this, although I have devised some ridiculous 'accidental' strategies to introduce my nudity into the room (none of which i have tried...probably for the best). Why not simply be upfront and matter of fact. Simple is always best.ReactReply - HS
harley sadlerSep 5, 2016i always sleep nude. recently i was in shared accommodation and found i had another bloke and his girlfriend in my room. she asked if it would be a problem if she had her laptop on, i said no problems, oh, and by the way, i sleep naked, hope that isnt a problem. when i returned to go to bed, she had dragged her bedding out into the lounge/kitchen part of the hut. turns out she hadnt been allocatted to that room, think they had swapped rooms so the two couples could be together. harley

Zach
I always sleep naked it's healthier freedom my wifed did to I'm windowernow and still sleep naked do most houseworkknudeReactReply - MEMemberOct 5, 2016I always like sleeping naked when possible. When I first started dating my partner, he wasn't a fan at all. He used to go to bed with underwear, shorts, AND a shirt! I couldn't tell if he wanted to sleep or go do yard work! Slowly but surely I got him to get more comfortable with his body...he started sleeping with just undies and a shirt, then just undies, and now its pretty much standard that we sleep naked together. No convincing necessary! He's now not much of a fan of sleeping with undies!
I've even gotten him to participate with me at the nude beach! Progress! :DReactReply - SI

Same here. I sleep so much better when I'm nude and the room is cold with lots of blankets covering me.

KeithOct 11, 2016Its a tad cool where I am staying presently so I was wearing a shirt and shorts whist relaxing and working on my tablet.
I had to get my phone off the side table which required me to slide across the bed.
That was OK but i found out why I sleep nude and am nude as much as I can.
The clothes I was wearing wouldn't slide with me, the grabbed and pulled and restricted my movement and what would have been so easy nude was a great challenge clothed.
Nudism total freedom. Mind, body and soul.ReactReply - BO
BobOct 12, 2016I have never let the people I have shared a room with know that sleep naked. I wait until I'm under the covers and the lights go out and slide off my shorts.ReactReply - JS

SurfguyxxxNov 13, 2016I too do a lot of travel in my job and at times need to bunk with others. I also tell them I'm a nudist and they've never even questioned me. Most of the guys I've bunked with are straight and they don't mind me being gay. Many of them also get undressed and comment that they wish they could go nude around their own homes. Go figure!
Same here. I won't interact with my traveling mates nude unless I know they are comfortable with me being fully nude. While I'm comfortable being fully naked, I don't want to make them uncomfortable. With people who know I prefer to be naked, all my clothing comes off once I get into the room. :)
Oh yes, I always sleep naked, with or without traveling mates.ReactReply - NUnudeyooperNov 17, 2016
Have never had to share a room while on business travel, but did share a room with my brother on a trip. Both of us slept nude in separate beds.

It does not even enter our minds not to sleep naked. I can think of a couple times doing an over night visit to textile friends. We would have been sleeping on the living room pull out couch with numerous people in the home. We elected to get a Hotel room instead. It kind of took our host back a little that we did that but it solved the sleeping nude and intimacy issue for us.

BobDec 13, 2016I have been sleeping nude since I was 11. When I went out camping with the Boy Scouts I would get in my sleeping bag wearing under wear and slip them off in the sleeping bag. I spent a week in the hospital about 30 years ago. They wouldn't let me sleep nude, so I wore PJ shorts. As for visiting, we have a motor home, so we bring our own bedroom. BobReactReply
