I end up traveling a lot for conferences etc and often sharing a room.  When I do share a room one of the first things I tell my roomie (male) is that I hope they don't mind but I always sleep naked and I hope it doesn't bother them.  I have never had a negative experience and I would say that most of the time they end up relaxing about there own nudity and usually sleeping naked also.  Anyone else had this experience?  Also do you know if any of your friends sleep naked?

For my work I had to share a room with some colleagues in my office, but since the first time I played the nudist theme it was very funny, it was on the trip while we go to a course to another city. My boss and a partner talked about the advantages of living alone, one of them said my partner is being able to walk naked through the house. My boss just said oh yeah! But I thought out loud and said I thought I was the only one who did it. There I told them that I slept naked so I hoped there would be no problem for that. When we arrived in the other city and after having attended our first day of course, we arrived at the hotel and entered the room, I decided to take a shower for the day which had been very long. When I got out of the shower, I just took my towel and I got tangled in it, since my partner had also decided to take a shower. When I enter the bathroom I turn off the lights and went out to the balcony to smoke a cigarette as he was in the shower take advantage to be on the balcony naked. For the noise of the cars I did not hear when my partner came out of the shower, I only heard it when I was behind me ... I just decide to tell him, well they knew that I sleep naked and that I also like to walk like this. When my boss arrived, and after he had bathed, he told my partner and me that he slept naked, so he hoped there would be no problem. Since then the times that I have to leave the office my boss and I share a room because we know that we both enjoy being naked

I spent 3 weeks rooming with 2 guys both in their 60s. One Canadian and one German. We we traveling for pleasure in Central America.
I slept nude opening, often a top the sheets all night in front of both of them in addition to going nude while in the room a majority of the time
The German would casually change clothes in front of me, but not go nude in general. The other guy once changed in front of me i think only because i came back to the room when he was not expecting me to and he was changing. Neither made any comment about my lack of clothes in the room. The group of 16 as a whole knew my tendency to like to be bare thanks to t-shirts with nudist phrases on them.

I grew up sharing a bedroom with my two brothers so sleeping naked as a grown man in the same hotel room as them is not even an issue, wouldnt give it a second thought. But for other work mate guys, I'd keep my boxers on so they wouldnt feel unomfortabel - although as a young man, me and my buddies on holidays together, we would have no problems parading around our hotel rooms naked. We quite liked it!

My company has organised next month a two day team building event where it will involve an overnight stay at a hotel and that I will be sharing a room with my manager. As i naturist I always sleep nude and after reading a few posts on here im deciding whether or not to just to tell him i sleep nude and once in the room undress and stay naked. Im 43 and my manager is 32 years old so i think he will be cool with it. Well i have a few weeks to think about it. I dont see why i should sacrifice my lifestyle for another person. Anyway it would be the same if we went to same gym and saw each other in the changing rooms. Any thoughts welcome

I would suggest telling him you prefer sleeping naked, see what his reaction is, and take it from there. My guess is he will be fine with it. You might be surprised to find out he prefers sleeping naked also.

I always sleep naked. never had the opportunity to share with colleagues.
With friends it very depended on their attitude to nudity. When I had to keep trunks on during the night, I found it so uncomfortable

Been sleeping naked since I was a kid. My parents slept naked and never hid their nudity around me or my brother. They weren't nudists but nudity was not an issue either. The few times I've slept with clothes I usually woke up at some point and found them on the floor. Apparently even in my sleep I strip them off. Wife and I shared a room once with another couple. We all slept in the nude (no hanky panky, just no one brought night clothes and all were cool with it.

If I have to share a room, I announce the following in advance:
    I smoke
    I snore
    I sleep nude
    and I like to spoon

The four "S's" almost always guarantee that I get my own room.

Sleeping naked is best way to sleep. Been like that for as long as I can remember since I got my own room. If I have to share a room then be in boxers, only because always had bad experiance when I tell someone I sleep naked.

That's funny! Lmao. Personally I don't mind sharing a room or a bed but if I ever want to be alone I'll use the 4 "S" excuse (even though only 2 of them are true for me lol )

I say come as you are. If you sleep naked at home, then why should you change that practice for others. Sleeping naked is not a sexual act, it is for comfort and to allow the body relax and rest. We sleep nude and we don't change this practice when traveling, on our motorhome or when we have guests over. Especially when you are in the privacy of a bedroom, why should it matter how you sleep?

I agree Tampa! Be comfortable and sleep well! If you're the most comfortable sleeping naked, as I am, so be it! I tend to roll around a lot and prefer not to feel the pull and drag of pajamas being caught in the covers. And I love the feel of the sheets! I get a much better nights rest naked!

Every time that I went on a trip with a roommate, I just wouldn't say a thing and just strip off my clothes and lay in bed. One time this guy said your naked, I told him I always sleep nude. Nothing more said!

I always sleep nude. Until now, this was never a problem, wether in a little or large group room, mixed or separated by sex. I think, it's because I'm not provocative, but natural.

I always slept naked since I was 13 no matter where I was. As I got older and started work we'd have to go to conferences and share a room. I told the person I was with FYI I sleep naked and don't dress until I have to leave. I'd say the majority said no problem I had a few say "Are you serious????", I'd say yes I am, they were like me too........ I thought I was gonna get stuck wearing this Fing underwear all week. Needless to say I am much closer with those co workers. I'd always tell them we all have a penis not a biggie lol

i went with some guys from my church to do clean up after Harvey. We paired up to share rooms. I asked a young man who I barely knew if he wanted to share with me. He said yes. He did admit that he was a bit surprised that i stripped completely in front of him so casually, but also said that it did not bother him. He was raised and still lives in a home with his mom and grandmother so for him he did not have another male around to learn to be casually nude with. He stayed modest, but assured me that my lack of clothes was fine with him.

I've slept naked since high school, through dorm living and when traveling with work team members in the early days.
No one ever had a problem with it that I remember.
