  I love this when I get the chance, ie when its warm enough, mostly do this at some CO coast I know but would love to do some more hiking at the coast or in woods, forests etc, does anyone know anywhere or want to come with me sometime in the uk?

  i go to a little hiking trail park here
  people never say things about me hiking nude so seems to be one of those places people not care as long as you do not bother them
  i just want to find people where i am to go hiking with out there

  Bugs have seasons. Black flies, May, Mosquitos, June, Deer and Horse flies over water and June July. So August is relatively bug free here in Ontario. Also, I was out already just about every second week and have not really been bothered at all and that's with no repellant. Some people make a big deal out of a few flying insects and/or ticks but I would gladly pay the price for the wonderful freedom of hiking nude. Go for it, worry about bugs later!

  Naked hiking is something I've been wanting to try but I'm not sure where I could get away with it. I live in Northeast PA about 15 minutes from the Appalachian Trail. I've also noticed there are a lot of "State Game Lands" nearby along Blue Mountain & in the Poconos. The question is are there any trails nearby where it's remote enough.

  Had a worderful naked bike ride for 3 hrs on a rail trail. Because of the heat I didn't see another biker.  I stopped and got some sun on a bench.  I could see up an down the trail for almost 1/2 mi each way most of the time and not worried on this remote portion. Did about 22 miles of the trail.

  I finally had a little time after work this past Wednesday to get up to my local nude hiking spot near Castaic Lake.
  I was able to get nude at work and drove over to the entrance of the hiking trail about 10 miles away. I arrived at the trail parking area about 5:45 and after putting some items in the trunk of my car, started down the trail.
  Normally when I go,  I am the only one there, this time however there was a SUV already parked at the entrance which meant that there was at least one person already on the trail. Since it has been a few months since the last time I was able to hike nude, I did not want to miss out on this opportunity so decided to go for it anyway.
  When I hike this trail, I do carry a towel with me for a fast coverup, but have only had to use it a handful of times. On this hike I never had to use the towel because I never met anyone else on the trails. There is a steep path that leads down to the lake that some people take to go fishing and by looking at the shoe prints in the dirt I could tell that two people had gone down there but not back up. I have never personally taken this trail as I am not sure footed enough to feel comfortable hiking there either nude or clothed.
  What really made this hike special was seeing two deer run across the the path about 50 feet ahead of me. In all the years I have been going here, this is the first time I have seen any wildlife other than birds.  OpenSCVman has posted a hiking report for this same trail recently where he also saw a deer on the trail. I hope this means that the deer population is increasing and that there will be more encounters in the future.
  I got back to the car about 7:15, stayed nude while getting my things out of the trunk, and as usual drove home nude.

  I left the 30th of June from The Netherlands to Austria with two other guys from the Low Lands. It was very hot during the ride in Germany, up to 35 degrees. In Germany we decided to dress off and drive further to Austria naked. Only for the coffee we had to dress. So we arrived naked in the hut, where 5 others already arrived. It was very a nice and comfortable hut on 1700 meter altitude. The rooms were nice with double bunk beds, so a double downstairs and a double upstairs. Together we decided to create a Dutch speaking room. There was an other Dutch guy expected, who came a couple of days later.
  
  The Sunday we made a little walk in the surroundings of the hut. Very beautiful and a nice warming up. In the afternoon most of the others arrived, 16 in total, 2 Dutch (the 3rd came later) , 1 Belgian, 4 Italian, 6 Brits, 2 German and 1 French.  That night O cooked some food with the few things we had, since the shops were closed on Sunday (catholic Austria!).
  
  The Monday we made a tour near Mandling, so we drove naked there and made a tour starting on 850 meter up to 1900 meter. A nice walk up, but just after we left the restaurant a thunderstorm and rainstorm started. It was very terrifying, all these thunders and lightnings. It also started raining cats and dogs, so we had to hide. Once we were hiding (laying under a hay car), there was a flash impact very very close to us..... I was not so happy. But we managed to continue and reach the cars. That night I cooked some pasta.
  
  On Tuesday we went to one of the trails I did 2 years ago. This is a very nice trail high in the mountains. The day started rainy. We had to climb around 650 meter to the first hut, in the fog, but little more up, there was sun! We were allowed to be naked on the terrace of the hut to have a drink and a soup. We continued more to some higher parts, up to 2100 meter (so 850 meter elevation). On this high path we had fantastic views and stunning panorama's. There was even snow, where we could play in. Surrounded by flowers it was just enjoying. Later on we passed a little lake, where we went for a swim. But is was very very cold!!!!!!! So I only managed to walk in and to run out again :-). Continuing we passed a huge water fall, verimpressive! Finally we went to the car and back to the hut after a 20 km hike. One of the Brits cooked a Sri Lanka curry.
  
  Wednesday we went to Radstadt, where we klimbed the Rossbrand and had a nice walk over a trail on the ridge. It was a nice route with swamps and through the forests. Totally different from the day before, but with stunning views. After the nice naked hike we made a little visit to Radstadt and had a nice ice cream on a terrace :-))))). That night I cooked a nice Indonesian dish.
  
  Thursday we went to one of the mountains next to the hut. So we could start naked immediately. This was also a nice trail to one of the summits. Also her the views were stunning! Because the tour was close, we were a little earlier at home. In the afternoon we had a nice naked gathering on the terrace, with some wine and beer. I arranged some goulash for the night.
  
  The last day Friday, we went to some lower parts, mainly in the woods, but also interesting. Unfortunately, a new thunderstorm came, so we had to hide a little bit. In the afternoon is went better, so we had a nice long naked gathering on our terrace. At night we
  cooked pan cakes.
  
  So the week became to an end on Saturday. After cleaning the house, we said good bye to everybody and we jumped naked in the car and drove naked home. Just at the stops something to wear.

  Do to work, I have not had a lot of spare time for hiking however this past Sunday (9/2/12) I was able to get about an hour of nude hiking on the trail above Lake Castaic.
  When I arrived at the entrance to the trail, about 5:00 PM,  there was a pick-up truck already parked there. Since it had been a while since my last nude hike, I did not want to miss out on this opportunity.
  When I hike nude, I normally carry a towel to use as a quick cover-up just in case. About 15 minuets into the hike I passed the other hiker heading out. He had a couple of dogs with him that were running ahead of him, so I had time to put the towel around me before I was in clear view. Obviously he was aware that I was hiking nude, and from his reaction I could probably have stayed nude, but I prefer to err on the side of caution then to take a chance on someone being "offended" by seeing me nude.
  After that I was able to continue with my hike without having to worry about coming across any other hikers.
  I am sure that one of these days I will come across another hiker and not have time to cover up. As far as I am concerned, it would not be a big deal, I can only hope that the other hiker will feel the same way.

  Naked hiking is very refreshing.A nice trail thru the woods,the sounds of nature,the feeling of the wind and the sun on your naked body.It is truly back to nature.The only places I have been able to go for nude hikes are at nudist or clothing optional resorts that have hiking trails.Stay naked my friends.

  I do a lot of naked hiking in the summer up at the cottage in Algonquin Park.  There isn't a soul around for many miles and the only scares you get are pheasants jumping out of the bushes when you pass.

  I like to take little hikes at the natural area where I also sunbathe and swim in the nude. It is a county owned natural area but it seems a bit out of the way for most people. There are several hiking trails but I like to walk the one at the top of the bluff above the beach. It travels through a wooded area and is quite level.
  I just walk around a curve in the trail hidden from the parking lot and remove my shorts. Feels great with a nice gentle breeze flowing around me.

  They're different for me.  This same problem was occuring on the home page a week or so ago.  Profiles would have the same picture, but different names.  It was a cache issue.  If I forced a reload (ctrl-f5) in windows,  it corrected itself.  I suspect the same issue is happening here.
  
  I do see that #80 is from euchin11 now, so who knows.

  While I'm here, I have managed to get several nude hikes in this summer, all on the Taum Sauk trail and Blue trail at Johnson's Shutins in Missouri.  All have been good hikes, but this last one got a little buggy and wet at the end.  As I was heading back to the parking area, a spot shower started (Which felt good, as it was HOT), but this woke up the horse flies, which then attacked me. I have bites all over me, and they ITCH.....
