I haven't been on TN (or any website) for months and I am now trying to read my built-up messages but they won't open. I get the following: There was an error processing this request. Please try again.
Likewise I want to upload some new pictures but neither uploader, the new or the basic, works.
I noticed the site looks quite different than how I remember. Are the bugs part of the changes the site is going through? Is anyone else having these problems?

Erik NatamsDec 28, 2016There are certainly a lot of bugs. I reported a few of them, but never got a reply. So I stopped reporting them.
You might try a different (up to date) browser and have less problems.ReactReply - BA
bare_leeJan 3, 2017Yes it is. I keep checking back in hopes that something has been fixed but I keep seeing zero improvement. The site is nowhere nearly as useful as it was and many things do not work for a lot of people. I don't see how it can survive if they don't get it in shape.

MarcKantoJan 3, 2017Yes, it's bugy. I've also reported something that affects my page but no response and it's still a problem. I was fine with the old site. This new design is for the birds! And textile ones at that!

BobJan 5, 2017It might be useful if TN's project manager could report on a weekly basis:
Number of bugs reported for the week.
Number of unique bugs reported for the week
Number of unique bugs fixed for the week
Number of unique bugs outstandingAnything with more detail would turn into a full time job and take time away from fixing bugs.
Just seeing the numbers each week and how they change may help everyone fell better.
I reported to a Director and was frequently in meetings with the Chief Information Officer (CIO). I had to keep reminding them that all problems are not created equal. Some are clearly a result of a type-o and are fixed in minutes. Some are very obscure and complicated and may take months. For all changes regression testing should be done. To test all possible paths through the application I administered would take three man years, so we would test the primary paths and use error logging to catch any other fall outs.

PaulJan 5, 2017This new site drives me up the wall with so many problems with it such as when using the groups I am on where I go back into my home page when I come out of one of the groups.

MartinJan 15, 2017I don't know if it's a bug with the new site since I only joined a week ago but I have problems getting into chat. I've tried both my old computer (using Vista and Firefox and Chrome) and a new borrowed laptop with Windows 10 and multiple browsers and each time I get the same error message: Connection Failed. How do I get assistance or advice resolving this issue. I've had somewhat better luck with the mobile site but that tends to stop working at random times when it only opens to a blank room. The same thing happens on both my phone (Galaxy S7) and Galaxy Tab 8.0 at the same times so it's not a problem with the phone. If I'm going to pay for a membership I would like this to work or there at least be someone to provide technical support.

I use a password manager to sign into sites, clicking on the site in it opens the log in page and it automatically signs me in. Its been working OK since the changes here until today. It opened the site but left me with the log-in page rather my normal homepage - the feed one, while I could see the bell and other notification icons that showed me how many notifications I have, so I was signed in but being asked to sign in!. Not that the notifications are accurate, they've been stuck on the same figures for a couple of weeks.

Several hours later, on returning to this site, the password manager only opens the log-in page and I have to enter the details manually. Is this endless series of bugs ever going to end? I've used the same password manager for a few years, it has not had a recent update so it is not the cause. It seems to be the case that even the bugs have bugs, or variants of the bugs, much like trojans often come in new flavours once the original one has been protected against. I honestly don't recall any website being so laden with bugs since sometime in the 1990's, other than some set up by absolute beginners.ReactReply - MEMemberJan 25, 2017
I'm unable to replicate this issue, maybe you can help this beginner out.
- Is this a "one time" issue, or is it happening regularly?
- When you click on a members area link (messages, my feed, my settings etc) Are you able to access it without issues? or redirected back to login?
- If you stay on that page for say 10-15 seconds does the top nav (messages, friend requests) eventually revert back to the login/signup button?
- What browser/platform are you using?
- Do you have cookies disabled? Thanks, this info would really help to track down and fix this issue. Also, please feel free to let me know the other issues you are experiencing,

The first page I see is the usual log-in one - the big box asking for my details and one of the usual photos to the left, yet I can see my notification bells and whistle icons. I clicked on my user name there and then the 'feed' in the drop down menu. So I'm signed in yet being asked to sign in, an issue I've seen before but in a different way a number of times since the 'upgrade'. I strongly suspect that there is a security issue with signing in here, and potentially signing out too. It would be re-assuring if the owners could confirm whether this is the case or not, please. Personally I'm not too concerned with this due to the security methods I use when coming here, if users sign into TN from less secure connections - i.e. public wi-fi I would be very concerned.ReactReply

JamesFeb 2, 2017Loaded up the site today after a short absence (thanks work!), and noticed the new site. Looks good, but does have a few bugs. The main one for me (which has been reported) is the search function appears broken.
When I select Location (USA) and State (TX), I'm the only profile that comes up (with no other filters in place). I KNOW I'm not the only nude guy in TX (I've met plenty), so not sure why the search algorithm is not doing what it should.
Good to see updates, nice to see resolutions.

I clear browser cookies, cache etc and block other tracking elements like Fakebook regularly so the browser doesn't have preferences etc stored for different sites. Its this site that is messing up. Every visit seems to show up at least another bug.ReactReply
- MEMemberFeb 3, 2017
Yes. This site with improvements is much less functional compared to before. It uses more memory and you can't back arrow. Plus if you go through all the pics and hit next all pics disappear and you have to back out and go back into the page. I miss the old system
I can use the browser back page button(forward too) on desktop PCs, it might be different on a mobile platform. I'm getting a new bug with photos on friends profiles, after the sometimes long approval period allows them to be shown I can click through their photos and get random black screens instead of the photos that I can see in the big thumbnails, this has started happening for me this week.ReactReply

PaulFeb 21, 2017Still having problems with navigating my groups as each time I come out of a group I go int my feed it takes 5 mouse clicks instead of non on the old site.

ManOfWicklowFeb 21, 2017Yes, this site since the changeover, is very primitive in comparison to the last one. The only reason I can think of for this downgrade is, it must be less money to run than the old one. I see no other reason for changing to a much less user friendly site.ReactReply - PA
PaulFeb 21, 2017Most likely because of the cost of the storage of all the 1/4 million + photos on this site as this will cost the money.

BobFeb 22, 2017Have been in Information Technology for about 40 years there is one more popular reason to move to a new system. The hardware or software you are using went out of support. All that means is if something breaks, you can't get it fixed.

TonyFeb 25, 2017I had to switch which browser I use to view this site. Safari wasn't working out at all. FireFox appears to be working fine though.
