About cogitate
I am monomanic, biped and trilingual. I consider myself sane, sorted and single. Fit in body - feet on the ground. Love the sun, sea and swimming. That's it for the alliterations. I am well read and politically red. I don't drink, or smoke or dance. In fact, I am a paragon of virtues. I am a herbivore so no longer eat people. I wish I could knit, solve a cryptic crossword, run a marathon or remember pi to 50 decimal places. Sadly, I cannot. I like swappoing messages and massages.
Hoping to connect with people who are independent in thought and action; think outside the box and beyond convention. Someone who can hold a conversation, as well as a fork and a knife. If you can read a book and speak your mind, that, too, is admirable. Open, spontaneous and friendly; a warm personality and a warped sense of humour will increase the chances. If you can do a sudoku, recite Haiwatha or solve a quadratic equation, that's a few rangs up the ladder. The ability to balance an eel on your nose will clinch the deal.
Diving, kayaking, cycling, snorkelling and swimming; outdoor activities. Am a cinephile (but not a sinophile) and love the theatre, but not theatrics. These are a few of my favourite things. In my spare time I search for the Tasmanian tiger, the phoenix, the hippogryph, the centaur and decent guys. These are mythical creatures which no one has yet seen. I am about to embark on a world tour to visit places I have never been to but have been meaning to visit for a long while. My peregrinations will take me to South America, Africa, Canada and Europe. It's going to be an odyssey of adventure and discovery.
Where music is concerned, I live in a time warp and am stuck in the 80s - a good place to be stuck. Billy Joel, Elton John, ABBA, the Nolan Sisters, the Gumbay Dance band. My favourite classical musical piece is The Swan by Saint Saens.
Another Woman/ Ordinary People/ A Love to Hide/ Cinema Paradiso/ As it is in Heaven.
Rosa Parkes, Martin Luther King.
