Nude in Wiltshire weekender

This weekend was quite a new nude one for us; we tried two new (to us) places to be nude. On Saturday, we went to Swindon (a town in Wiltshire, UK for those who dont know). A bit of shopping in the afternoon and then to the bare swim in the evening (http://swindonbareswim.co.uk) . Here we enjoyed: turkish saunas, steam rooms, Jacuzzi, cold plunge, and a swimming pool. We were informed there were 26 people there (about 20% ladies) - all nude and a jolly nice bunch too! We also met a TN friend there, WiltsBareOne, and it was great to finally meet him. We stayed overnight in Swindon and then on to Malmsbury (still in Wiltshire) for Abbey House Gardens clothes optional day (http://www.abbeyhousegardens.co.uk). Arrived at about 1130 and already there were plenty of nude folk there with the odd textile. After getting our bearings, we stripped off and left our clothes in the designated area, took a few photos, and headed to get a spot of lunch from the kitchen (a good value baked potato each). Afterwards we headed off to the lower wooded area where the river runs through, and basked on the riverbank in some very nice late summer sunshine. Mid-afternoon we went back up to the lawn and garden areas which turned out to be peak time and was quite busy, with most people being nude and we met a lot of folk again from the previous night. The lawned area offered giant games of chess and Jenga and more chance to soak up the sun. Lots of couples attend this event and it is well worth it to wander around with lots of other nudies in the fantastic surroundings. By around 1630, folk started to disappear and we went on a "photo-shoot" as it was quieter and less likely to get other nudists in the background. We reluctantly left at 1730 - the designated kick-out time. Look out for some very nice photos in our picture section :) The trip back was about 70 miles down the M4 and traffic not too bad - a bonus! A point of interest for all you partnered people who want to introduce your (non-nudist) other half: there were quite a few couple there, where one was nude and one was not, and no-one was bothered by it- after all it is clothes OPTIONAL. We did then see that, by end of day, some of the previously clothed parties were no longer clothed.
