Hi all my lovely friends out there in the TN world. I just thought I would share something with you all from my experiences over the last fornight since my dad died. What I'm going to say isn't aimed at anyone in here because you've all be really amazing with your messages of support and love (well apart from the prat who said sorry bout yer dad. what was i up to for the weekend and did i chat 121 on messenger naked !!) but just thought this was worth sharing. When I was out and spoke to people offering their condolences at the loss of my father nearly everyones next line was "well when i lost my father , mother, sister" etc and i got the full account of their loss when all i wanted to do was to tell them about mine. For example: I went into town the day before to take my children to see their granddad at the chapel of rest. My neighbour waiting for the same bus and asked how i was. After this i spent the entire time on the journey listening to alll the tragedies her family had suffered when all i wanted was to either be left alone in my thoughts or at least talk about my dad. So this experience has taught me that if ever a friend tells me about their nearest and dearest dying i shall listen to them and not tell them of my experience unless they ask. All people want to do at that tragic time in thier lives is to be listened to. Anyway enough of the lecture... I'll be back in the room soon cos it seems from the amount of gossip i requested you need me to come and create some lol love you all (apart from the prat) Ali xxxxx
