Jul 25, 2013This week has brought a flurry of changes to the site. Most of them unseen. Major improvements in speed and reliability have been integrated.
Unfortunately a lot of these changes did not launch smoothly, so my apologies for that. For now I'm just working on fixing any outstanding issues and ensuring everything is working properly.
Please feel free to use this thread to discuss your thoughts or let me know if something is not working right.

- MEMemberJul 25, 2013Yes same problem, can see thumbnail pictures but mothing opens when you click on them. Messages open OK, only tried it with old read ones.

Both should be working now, try hitting Ctrl+F5

BobbyJul 25, 2013Right now (Thursday 7:20 EST) its working both in firefox and IE9. Had issues in IE9 earlier. I do think it looks nicer.

IDoIt2Jul 25, 2013Videos still not viewable when you hold your pointer on it looks like s slide show but if you click on it says "Whoops! Looks like there's a problem with this video." This was a problem before the upgrade.

I have cam on.
The sizing thingy in the corner to let you change size of my cam is fine...however
there is a second sizing thingy further down the screen in the chat area.
It will actually size your window, but it does not move when i move the window.

HawkJul 25, 2013This is almost funny LoL. the same thing happened when they switched to a new server and things acted out for a little while.
Yeah the main "welcome page" is not looking good right not, but I"m sure in due time all will be as it used to be.
So let's give Admin/WebServer a few days and it all be back to normal as it used to be.
Is just good to know thet acutal site owners/management are in-charged and maintaining the site. UNlike maky other WWW sites out there.

coolman88Jul 25, 2013I seem to have problems getting into the chat room. I have to click more then once on the chat button to make it work, sometime it works ans some time i can not load the chat page. Was not having these issues before ? any explanations? Thanks for your help.

DesertRatJul 26, 2013All of the links at the top and bottom of the page are listed vertically and not horizontally as before. Is this the way it is designed or do I have a problem? They all work fine when I click on them but is this an improvement I'll just have to get used to? I did notice a problem opening pics but that seems to have disappeared.ReactReply - KG

beach10Jul 26, 2013for around 3-4 days now the home screen is all broken up with no menu bar along the top. I have been unable to open messages and pictures. I hope that you manage to get it fixed soon or just put it back to the way it was.

Yes I noticed the vertical links, but thought it was a problem with my system. If this vertical list layout is correct, then it is a step backwards and certainly no improvement. To take up so much space for such few words, just makes no sense at all.

My main issues are;
You can copyANYpicture off this site if you have the know how. It really is not rocket science.
As a paid site, you should have our privacy as your main priority. If pictures from our pages end up on other sites, I assume you are ultimately liable for this?
Get rid of the fake profiles. Make your 'Certification' picture a permanent feature on the members photo gallery, with the option of course, on who you decide to share your pictures with (friends etc). There is nothing in your current certification process that is meaningful. I could post a picture on another account, become certified, delete it and then upload pictures of anyone. You certification process therefore means nothing.
There are so many fake profiles on here, most displaying some nice pictures but clearly they are from professional sites. What are you doing to ensure that this site is for genuine people only?
Other than that, the new functionality appears better but lacks security,still.ReactReply - TO

The style issues and photo/message issues are caching issues, they should resolve soon, or you can manually clear your cache by following these instructions

As far as the chat room issues, that chat room software is not ours, it was created by another company and we just license it.

There are no "security" issues we are aware of and we take privacy very seriously. Saving images is an we've addressed countless times already. If you post a picture publicly on a website you are open to people being able to take it, we can not be liable for the actions of owners of other websites.
We take steps to make it more difficult, and offer actual privacy solutionsthat allow you to decide who can view your pictures.If a person can see your picture online, then they can store or repost it. This is not an issue with our site, and there is no software solution to it.
We encourage our users to use discretion onANYTHINGthey publicly post on the internet onANY WEBSITE.
As far as fakes and certification, we are overhauling the certification process for a larger (probably more buggy :) ) site update this year. Please continue to flag accounts, our system automatically removes about 20 accounts per day.ReactReply - OP
