KeithApr 18, 2015
Well the problem is not ausmanvic's tablet or my iPad etc. I have checked on other devices as well. Â it is the site and how they are presenting on tablets. Â The look and feel on tablets is very different from what I am seeing on my Mac right now. Â In web development there are ways to present a site differently on different types of devices and that's obviously what has been done.
As we both have said the buttons etc are missing on the tablet view of the site along with other features.
Thanks for your input Fullsun, hopefully the nay sayers on here who think its all a joke will now understand here is issues that has arisen since the recent upgrade. But of course the detractors on this website know it all and can't help themselves and must post their inane comments and deride other users. Back on topic. Another issue I have is any topic I select in any group always start at the first post on the first page and often in multi page topics the move to the end button ends up on a blank page with no direct means to step back a page i.e. there are no movement arrows visible at the bottom of the page to select back one page or go back to page 1. Let's hope the TT team can sort it out quickly for us.ReactReply - SI
silversurferApr 18, 2015Years ago when I was on a site "Skinbook" I was able to view everyone's comments/discussions which kept the site very exciting (not in a sexual way). There was always new posts to view. I was able to meet a lot of people through following what they commented on. On here I can only see what my friends have posted and their friends. I feel like I'm missing out on a lot of topics I don't know about.
And for some reason I can view my pics but the videos I've posted can't be watched. At least not by me. Again, nothing sexual in them. Just me doing wood working or gardening naked. Anyone else have that problem?ReactReply - MEMemberApr 19, 2015
Yes i agree.

Was good before, not its a pox.
Can't even add line spaces in the version, totally pathetic

I have found in the past that change doesn't come to quickly on this site and reverting back is usually not going to happen. I myself may not renew my certification when its due if this type of change continues. Ill rather spend my money on some other site. Those who care what we the users want.

FlokieApr 21, 2015
Karen, you are right, and most of everything you've suggested have been suggested over and over throughout the years. The owners don't want to boot anyone unless it's a massively flagrant violation. It hurts their bottom line you see.
I know you're right but I just can't seem to beat down my natural optimism. The first time I joined this site there were only around 2000 members so it was fairly early days and I have quit twice since then. The last time I joined I just decided to roll with it and enjoy the chat room which is really why I'm here but I still find it frustrating that this site isn't living up to its potential. I financially support other naturist organizations and clubs but just can't bring myself to support this one in its current state. It's discouraging.ReactReply - DE
DesertRatApr 21, 2015I like this site and recommend it to others but, how I wish that this site was something that I could be really proud of. I stay with this site because I feel that the positives far outweigh the negatives but unfortunately little effort is taken to remove the negatives. The fact that this site cannot gain an AANR recommendation speaks volumes. I keep looking for sites to fulfill my needs in the nudist community, but have not yet found any where I can feel at home in. I believe that it is now time that the owners stopped going for quantity and started seeking quality. I believe that this type of move would positively effect their bottom line. We can only hope.ReactReply - RA
ravensflyinnowApr 22, 2015I don't like this site upgrade. I am strictly a tablet user now. This upgrade has destroyed my appeal of TrueNudist, I used to log on multiple times a day, now, some days I don't even bother. I liked the forums, but with the upgrade? I don't at all anymore. My suggestion? Fix it, or you will see a big decline in numbers. I am a pretty patient man, but I figured this would have already been fixed. Please bring back the recent post feature to the tablet version.

A fix would be an option at the bottom of the page that lets the user switch between desktop or mobile. Craigslist has that option...I hate the mobile version.

DesertRatApr 25, 2015It has been said that those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. It would be great if we could search the Forums by topic so anyone who has a similar question could search for the answer before repeating the question. Unfortunately different names are given to similar topics so it is almost impossible to assign it to a particular topic. One additional problem is that respondees often go off topic and answers do not always apply to the topic.ReactReply - KE

KeithApr 25, 2015I am a lot happier I just found a hidden icon on my android tablet which gives me the option to request to use the desktop version of this site. So it looks like every thing is back to normal .
Its not a feature of the site its a feature built into the tablet, just didn't think to look at it until today as the functions available on the icon vary as to what program is running on the viewed window.
For others info the icon I am referring to on my tablet is 3 vertical dots on the upper right hand corner of the window on the tab bar.ReactReply - BB
Bill BowserApr 25, 2015Like the rest of the tablet users here I think this so called upgrade is a dismal failure. It may be that there were compelling reasons to change the previous system, and that the degradation for tablet users was unanticipated, but it seems to me that there have been enough complaints about the new system that some action should have been taken, even if that was to only aknowledge the problem.

tanglers2005Apr 25, 2015There are surely issues with using the iPad. I tired on two and both look horrible. THe only real good way is to use a computer.Either that or put an option to display in Web Mode. That is doable as I have used that on several other web pages I use on my iPad.

Wow... Thanks for the info. I never knew that. Works great

The chat window just won't open in desktop mode whereas before the up grade it did.ReactReply - DE
DesertRatMay 15, 2015Certain items contain several hundred pages and it is easy to find the first few pages or the last few pages but is there an easy way that someone could go to one of the interim pages? If not, maybe we should suggest that this feature be added.ReactReply - J.
J.May 15, 2015I'd like to add to the list wanting a working tablet version, even if it means just going back to the old version that worked fine. Tablets seem to be getting the phone-optimized version now and it stinks.

Gambit39May 24, 2015I agree on the chat room request. The chat space only takes up around half the screen. There is a ton of wasted space around the borders. If have a few private chats and a couple of windows open, the page is pretty much blanketed. Another thing I'd love to see is profiles that have been dormant over a year should be cut loose. I could be mistaken, but doesn't saving all their pictures and info take up valuable server space?

ShavedNudist27May 27, 2015In the "Groups" listing, I would like to see the order reversed within each subgroup. Latest post first! It would save going to the back to find the newest post. Other sites are doing it.ReactReply - DI
dicktikiMay 30, 2015Hell, we are unable to get into the chatroom - is this going to be fixed soon please ?

flyhigh2609Jun 4, 2015Certain pics don't load anymore, some of my TN friends confirm as well. And if you click on any of them they don't open to be seen. Since 2 days this is the case. Please fix. Thanks
