The site owners would see a big drop off in fake profiles with photos stolen from the web if only certified people could go into chat. There would be no incentive for men to create so many fake profiles since they do so for purposes of going into chat with such IDs.
More real people might give chat a try and recommend it to friends if this were to be the case. Plenty of real people are driven away by the fakes.
There are some real women who go into chat who are not certified because they had no need to be. I am sure if the only way to get into chat was to get certified then they would do so most of them go on cam in the room. One option that might be nice is the option for women to be certified by going on cam for the admins or mods on skype or something.
Lately here has been a huge uptick in fakes scaring real women away.
There will still be some fakes who email through the site but most register to go into chat.

CTJan 14, 2016I firmly agree with the statement. Getting certified is quick and easy and if it cuts down on some the needless issues in the main room, then everyone wins.ReactReply - MI
MikeJan 14, 2016I could understand the option for some trial period uncertified but even then I feel it desirable for there yo be some info provided. Those blank profiles should not be permitted in any way. If someone wants a blank profile they simply cannot be true nudustsReactReply - NJ
njnudistjohnOriginal PosterFeb 6, 2016
History and experience have proven that multiple chat rooms do not work. And saying newbies need a chat room to learn about nudism is a complete fallacy. There's a perfectly good forum full of more information then they will ever get in chat.
I agree, one chat room, certified only.
Naturally the fakes will use the main room and most people will as well if there are 2 separate rooms. There needs to be 1 room certified only. This will get rid of the incentive to have so many fake accounts and will make the life of the admins much easier. Any given day at least half of the new profiles are fakes registered to go into chat.ReactReply - DE
DesertRatFeb 7, 2016I am not a fan of the Chat Room, nor do I go there but I do see the results of the complaints that are lodged about it. With all the complaints that I see, I believe that this may be worth a try. I don't believe that this would be of any harm.ReactReply - CA
CabotCheeseFeb 7, 2016I see a lot of decent people in the chat room who are not certified, have been members for years, have detailed profiles and multiple full nudity photos uploaded. They should be allowed in IMHO
If an un-certified profile is new and has no nude photos uploaded they should be excluded. Its often the blank profiles that are the offenders.
Target un-certified blank profiles first to see if that helps.ReactReply - NENeptunusRexFeb 7, 2016Greetings,
I am at the point where I would have to agree that as a policy - banning non-certified members from the chatroom. It took me all of 3 days to become certified, less than that to become a gold member. With a small amount of luck this may change some attitudes and keep the pervs out.
I like TN and believe in the naturalist cause but I don't welcome unfriendly and often hostile people because the non-certs have changed the culture to the point of open hostility towards 'single' nudist men.

I do not understand why someone would not get CERTIFIED, it is free, and the photos are secure.
Any photo or post that comes here while protected by the site owners is at risk of being released in the future. A hacker could gain access, maybe the pictures seized by over zealous authorities. We cannot be assured that everything will remain secure forever.
Those who wish their lifestyle to be secret indefinitely would be well advised not to take any nude photos and certainly not upload them to a website.ReactReply - WI
winded_toleranceFeb 9, 2016I definitely agree with this. I also feel it would cut down on a lot of the drama brought on by the fake accounts that most people are understandably avoiding.

AussieFilipino1991Apr 4, 2016I definitely agree with this, however I have had great web cam chats with non certified people who turned out to be really cool. At the end of the day, it's really not that hard to get certified though.

I don't use the chat room here, for many of the reasons stated above. If I knew everyone there was certified, perhaps I'd give it a try more often. Personally, I think the whole site should require certification to see any photos on any profile other than your own. Most of my pictures are for certified friends only for a reason.

GilanApr 24, 2016Who knows maybe if there were a certified only area and certified members only chat room that might attract more people to the site. The certified only idea might give people more confidence the site is legitimate as the name implies “True Nudistsâ€ReactReply - FL
FlokieApr 25, 2016There used to be a "certified only" chat room and it was full of masturbators which is why it was made defunct. Certification isn't proof of anything other than your willingness to send a nude photo to the site owner. That's it.

FlokieApr 25, 2016My certification pics didn't prove my gender. I was standing behind a piece of paper with my info on it so you couldn't see my breasts and I did not include my genitalia. Unless something has changed, that is still the case.

GilanJun 5, 2016I'll go even further and say you have 30 days to become certified or your profile is deleted from this website. The title of the site is True Nudists so after 30 days if you are not certified your profile should be removed.ReactReply - MEMemberJun 5, 2016
Certified,non-certified. Makes no difference. Hate to burst your security bubble, but no photos here are safe and secure. Anybody and I do mean anybody can take your photos very easily. It's called screenshot. It's been around for years and still used today. I know I just tried it on my friend. And now I have his pic. Don't need it so I've deleted it. Just did it to prove it still works. Secure? No. Nothing here is secure. Only thing being a paid gold member is the the non-certified can only get max, 6 pics.
Sorry again to burst your bubble folks.

Brian HJun 22, 2016I've been a cert member for about 3 months it is way past due to require all members to be certified. Being un-cert attracts all the un desireable people mainly men who's sole purpose is self gratification thru the viewing of other people on cam . None of these people are in any sense of the word nudist's. I do not agree how ever that a true nudist on here needs to remain seated as to not show the lower half of their body I've been a nudist for 40+ yrs other than driving i'am a 24/7 nudist at home and at camp. I shouldn't have to worry about being booted because I got up to get a cup of coffee. Some of the mods do ok when they catch a male on cam masturbating they boot them as they should. I would be interested in being a mod on this site should the need arise .ReactReply - KO
KohaanJun 26, 2016Speaking ofpaidmemberships... so far, I don't see any value in it. ... Am I missing something? ...The benefits appear to be very limited. The last time I paid for a lifetime membership in a website, it disappeared soon after that, with out a trace... and of course, no refund... If you want to share pictures with your -real- friends, why not start a private group? If there is something else of real value, here, why is it not promoted in a more obvious way?ReactReply - PA
PaulJun 27, 2016I have only used chat about twice for about 5 minuets each time and realised it was't for me, but if this went ahead I will be very suprised if there are more than 6 on it at a time so would fail to function.

GilanJul 31, 2016I completely agree with you on the fake profiles. The TrueNudist website doesnt seem to care much about fake profiles. Maybe they think the more profiles they have the better but in my opinion that is just the opposite. If they made sure the site was run with two sections certified and non-certified I think it would grow even larger.ReactReply - SA
SailormaanDec 5, 2018Or let non certified pay monthly to use chatroom. A non certified account is easy to make. No one knows who hide behind it.
ReactReply - MEMemberDec 6, 2018
Websites are judged on revenue and number of active users. Fake profiles help that.
All in all there are worse sites for such problems. I think now it becomes a question of data privacy in sending off a nude photo... And not putting people off.The site is trying to appeal to hardened nudists that go to beaches and clubs but also more timid home nudists. They may feel less comfortable sharing, whereas someone like myself is less bothered. It's my body, so what we all have one
Maybe the answer is 3 chat rooms:
- general free for all
- certified only
- no can just chat
Shy nudists can use the last one, it will be fake free and then they progress to certified. Fakes will hang in the general chatReactReply
