I am curious for those of you who manage to fulfill primarily nude lives at home. How do you react if someone comes to your door when you are naked. For example a delivery.
I cover up the issue is i don't always have something to cover up in so have to make dash past the door (which has a frosted window) to get something on in a hopes they are still their when I am clothed again.
I have asked one couple the same question thus far and their house had a route to the front door and a door sounded a buzzer giving them time to put a dressing gown on before they got to the front door.
I have no wish to enforce my preference on others or make them feel uncomfortable if the view of flesh is more then they are comfortable with. Just curious what all your views are :)

A simple solution in my case I would still need to go past that frosted window.
What I need is a new house lol. Preferably with a garden that isn't overlooked and south facing :)
I will just have to be more organised and keep something at hand downstairs and upstairs.
Yesterday morning someone came to the door as I passed (great timing) I had a t-shirt on but nothing on below. I had to shout a lie through the door that I had to grab a key. Dart upstairs and find trousers.

I have a notice on my door that says "This is a nudist household, nudity may be encountered". I have never answered the door in the nude, unless it is one of my nudist friends. It does keep away sales people!

My GF is a letter carrier and she told me she has had people open their doors in all states of dress or undress. Most have a open robe on and nothing under it. She is border line nudist so it doesn't bother her.

If it is, I'm curious as to how many other carriers do feel unsafe or offended when it does occur (since I assume the majority of carriers aren't borderline nudists)...

Stone AndyOct 19, 2019I've had male friends shut down after unexpectedly seeing my penis on an impromptu skinny dip, and female friends struggle with seeing me bare chested. Both stemmed from their abuse histories, so I like to be sensitive to the fact that it's not just about me.

I was working in the kitchen where there is no view from the back door. She often just opened the door to put packages inside where she got a full view of me standing at the stove. It was appreciated that the packages were put inside, but it no longer happens.ReactReply

Nothing about nude, but I would suspect that was an unstated don't.ReactReply

ADec 4, 2019Usually grab a robe or a towel. Not always if expecting a friend, relative or a household member with no key. Has happened that there has been someone like Jehovah's Witnesses, salesperson, mailperson, neighbor etc. Nothing particular ever occurred, some have been tad embarrassed, others cool.

I keep a pair of shorts be the door during summer and a robe in winter. I have a sign on the door that says - "This is a nudist household and some nudity may be seen." It keeps the salesmen away!

JohnFeb 8, 2020I try to remember to be clothed if I am expecting a delivery but If they catch me nude I take the delivery as I am. Most drivers just want to get their deliveries done and would not wish to wait for somebody who was naked to dress.
