There are a lot of threads where people are talking about shaving their pubes, but not much discussion on armpit hair. How many men here remove their armpit hair, whether it be shave, wax or laxer?
The reason I ask because it seems like not many men today do it. Society always make it seem like a woman thing. But ever since I started having my armpits waxed last year, I've really loved it and can't go back to hairy armpits again. It feels much cleaner and really reduces body odor. In fact, I don't even have to put on deodorant anymore because the lack of hair keeps the pits clean and fresh. If I sweat there, it dries up very quickly since there's no hair to retain the moisture.

gabareJun 6, 2021i'm smooth from my nose to my toes including my pits i've never cared much for hairy bodies , i use a mangroomer it's amazing IMO 1-15 minutes once or twice a week and im done.

YES INDEED, LIKE THE REST OF MY BODY SOUTH OF MY EYES. Nearly every time I shower I use a Braun Silk-epil 7 on my underarms, forearms, and netherlands. There is no stubble, a very slow regrowth, and a general diminution of grow back.
I enjoy the clean smooth feel. I attract less dirt as I work around the farm.

Yeah, I shave mine smooth regularly. Prefer it to them. Being hairy and feels cleaner and less smelly.

I'm in the process of back, shoulders, upper arms, pits, and pubic area full laser. Not cheap but tired of the hair. No one has mentioned the pits yet which I have kept shaved for a few years but probably a matter of time when at the pool or the beach.

MackJul 17, 2021I started shaving my pubes and then everything from navel to backbone. I really liked the look and the feel and one day I spotted the tufts of hair sticking out from under my arms. I didnt like it so I shaved it. I immediately liked it and just as crotch odor is minimal when smooth, underarm odors are minimal when shaved. Much more sanitary.

DickJul 17, 2021I have been removing it for a few years now. I make a sugar wax and use linen strips and a big mirror. I also have been waxing my genital and buttocks by myself. My wife will wax my back but is afraid she will hurt me in the other places. I am really happy with the outcome and as time goes on I have less and less hair and no stubble. I love the fresh and clean feeling of not just getting rid of the hair, but the softness of my skin afterwards.

Yes I shave the arm under my arms as I used to get badly blocked pores and ingrown hairs under my arms so I started to shave and still do.I also shave my pubic hair and the hair in my butt crack

ArthurJul 19, 2021After years of getting fully waxed (including armpits) several times per year, I decided to go for permanent hair removal all over my body. And I can honestly say that it was the best decision I ever made. No more pain of all the waxing sessions, no more ingrown hairs, always smooth, it is perfect. And If I count all the expenses I made after 17 years of waxing, then the permanent hair removal was a lot cheaper.
So I never have to shave or wax my armpits anymore. I think it looks great on men when they don't have hairy armpits. I would argue the same for the rest of the bodyhair. :-)

JohnOct 24, 2021Funnywell, not funny, too. We often do things and then realize it was not the best choice. I found poison ivy soap is not particularly helpful for some sensitive areas. It got a bit hot.

I keep my underarm hair trimmed short - at around 1 cm (around 0.5 in). Mostly, I do this because I like how it looks, and feels. However, similar to other folks posting in this topic, I've also found that I don't need as much (or any) deodorant when I keep my underarm hair short.
Do what feels right for you. If you like it short, keep it short. If you like it long, keep it long. If you like it shaved, keep it shaved.
