Being Naked around Buds — The Mens Room on True Nudists

Was just in an interesting place with a bud that I have been friends with for many years. We went to Las Vegas a few weeks back. I wanted to go to a mens spa but did not want the guys I went went with to know about it.....anyway, I went to the spa and was sitting in the hot tub naked when my bud walks in, we see each other and have a moment of reality....he dropped his towel and got in....I was a little freaked by it but after a few mins was calmer. When it came time to get out, we both agreed it was awkward and just do it....so we did and it was not that strange really. He went off to get a massage and I went to another part of the spa but we got back together at the juice bar at the end and talked about guy stuff of the trip. It was odd but liberating....anybody else have an experience like that with a bud where you both were suddenly naked in front of each other?

Just tonight I hung out with two friends. One of them was a fraternity brother of mine, the other was not. We just listened to music and cooked, which is not that easy to do nude.

been naked with my friends for awhile ... no problem. Just being comfortable and relaxed.sometimes someone gets a hard on ... it's no problem.Love being naked with them ... no sex .. sometimes a JO session ... but it's just having fun

I usually mention that I am a nudist, ask them if they'd be ok with my nudity... always hope for a yes. And that's that, no need for discomfort for anyone.

At the firehouse it's just expected that all will be nude. Open showers and sleeping quarters pretty much make it so there isn't much you and your workmates don't know about each other. Women sleep separately so not sure what they do.

Nudity is nothing new to me, and people can be nude in my presence, and I see nothing sexual or weird about it. I, on the other hand, don't feel comfortable being naked in the presence of others. Of course I havn't been to a nudist camp/resort, either. So I really don't know what it's like to be in a group, naked.

Most of my friends including my best buddies know I am a nudist and have seen me naked several times at various occasions like in locker room, health club, nudist beaches and resorts and at my home. Two of my best buddies from collage are also nudists and we have spend a lot of naked time while we studied our degree. Last Christmas holidays we three were together for a couple of days and stayed over at my place, we were naked through out the time. We had quite a fun time, plenty of beer and pizzas, xbox and chats.

I have never had any problem being naked around my male friends. I don't think they have a problem either.

I've never had a problem being naked around friends or work colleagues. At my last workplace lots of us were regulars at the gym, so we've all seen each other naked many times.

I seem to be the odd man. I am more reluctant to be naked around people I know rather then people I don't. I haven't been to a nudist beach, resort, etc YET so not sure there.

I was chatting with a friend on Facebook yesterday, and I may get a chance to introduce him to the comforts of social nudity. He lives outside New York City, and I told him how I knew the area where he lived. The subject of the Korean Spa, Spa Castle, came up, and now he says he would like to go with me. I told him he doesn't need me to go with him, and that it is a safe place if you are alone. But he insisted that we go together. LOLI am now flattered that he thinks I would be a cool enough person to introduce him to something so new to him. I guess we let our minds go wild on what might go "wrong," only to find out nothing is wrong about it at all. As has been said before, there should be nothing unusual about seeing a bud naked. Or a stranger naked as long as it is the appropriate way for the situation. Nudity for a massage, sauna or shower should be expected.

I have enjoyed hanging out naked with some of my friends.
It creates a special bond with that person... a trust and open friendship.
I wish more people were comfortable with relaxing naked with a fellow bud.

I have seen almost all of my (male) friends nude. The culture of sauna that we have here in Sweden makes it no big thing.

Agree totally. At the very least it should be accepted. Used to have massages with undies on, with all that fiddling by masseur pushing them aside. Then one day simply asked if ok if i removed them and massages have been much more comfortable ever since. A professional masseur is very good at dealing with this in an appropriate manner so as to make even a non-nudist comfortable. Will broader society ever get over equating nude with sex

Most of my friends have seen me naked at one time or the other. Sometimes they have been naked with me, at the other times not and I would be the only one naked with them. At places like sauna, swimming pool, locker room, communal showers, I have been with my friends and we have been naked together. No big deal. Some of my non nudist friends tend to remain clothed even when I am naked at certain occasions. Like at my home, I am usually naked while my non nudists visitors are usually clothed.
Similarly at cloth optional beaches and clubs, one of my best buddies is always clothed while I tend to drop my cloths as soon as I enter the place. We both hang out together and have fun. None of us care if the other person is clothed or naked.

All my friends have seen me naked and vice versa.this during sports, wellness in sauna stream room and so on.no problem here in Europe.even in public swimming pool in the shower I do meet even neighbours naked. A normal thing.

I've never had a problem with it, communal showers after a game of golf or football. Nothing to be shy about.
