Married Men but here as MALE ONLY profiles

Over our tenure here at TN, we've found that there's a number of MARRIED males who have MALE only profiles.  Just wondering what the motivation is to leave the MRS. out of this formula.....?

Could it be:
1) Their wife isn't a nudist....
2) They are nudists, but doesn't want their wife to know that they have a profile...
3) They aren't nudists at all but what a great way to meet people who are.....
4) This is one big fantasy and if their wife found out about this, their status would change to DIVORCED....

What is it?  Why are you here as just a male if you're married?  My wife and I have no secrets about nudism, our private life activities, or who we chat with, or what we do.  Why aren't you proud of the most important thing to you in life, and why don't you give her the respect she deserves....

Anxious to hear from all the MARRIED men out there with non-couple profiles....

Steve

I didn't read all the replies so I am probably repeating a previous reason. When I went to sign up the instructions said to sign up as a couple, both partners must submit photos. My wife does not trust the internet. She said, the last thing she wants is our grandchildren or others to somehow see her naked photos. So she wouldn't sign up with me as a couple. She later said ok to pix on my profile, but limited them to certified members. She is a nudist and enjoys nude camping the most. Once I had the profile I saw no good reason to change it as I listed married.

I have registered as a couple. There shall be no doubt that we are a couple. Gail will get nude at a beach or resort and  I completely understand her reluctance to have her nude pic on any internet forum. Being certified or not is FAR from my greatest worry or desire.

I aim happily married and a nudist. My wife is just getting into nudism an did not want her pic in the profile and also has a job where she had to sign a contrat. I respect her for that and I know one day we will be known as a couple. But until then, I don't think ppl should be judging others by their standards.  Each person/cpl is different in thir journey of nudism. Respect others and as it says, "Judge not less ye be judged too."

It is just dead wrong, and prejudiced, to assume things about people when you don't know them.   Just because you live one way, doesn't mean everybody else SHOULD!  That is the very definition of Intolerance. Your list of reasons merely reflects your own lack of compassion for others.  And it seems a lot of the comments in this thread reflect that same prejudice, intolerance, and lack of compassion - quite the opposite of what I expected to find on this site.   Perhaps Openness is not a quality that is admired here...

Title should read married and have single profile. There are female profiles that are single that list them as married as well. Ok not as many but still.

Ok not as many but still.
Not to mention the ones that are stating "Married but looking".   Looking for what?  hahaha   And, it is true that there are females that list "anything sexual" as the only Activity.  Again, how does that pertain to being a True Nudist?   I listed "It's Complicated" because it's a great conversation starter.  LOL  Yet I do know of men who have a complicated situation, but rather than get beaten up, put down "single".  Such a CONUNDRUM!

When I first registered on this site, I registered as male. I later tried to change the designation to couple, but it couldn't be done. I would have had to completely re-register as a new member and lose all of the info on my original site, or else maintain two sites. I didn't want to do that, so I remained with a male designation. Recently things have changed. We can now change our designation to couple and not lose any of our previous information. If this is what happened to you, you can now change it. It is actually simple to do.
Mine says male rather than couple because of poor coding on TN.
Every time I try to change my profile to "Couple" and then save the change, it says "kid" isn't allowed in a username. Even though it's in the user name I'm using and "nekkid" is a very common term.

    Cheers

I think it is perfectly reasonable to list as an individual if the person is here without their other, relationship status is a separate line.  I like that they even have the option as I know a few married couples that share a facebook profile and it bugs the crap out of me.

This is not only a problem here, it is a problem at resorts and non-landed clubs. There are a lot of nudist males whose wives will not participate. So what are they to do? They join or attend without their wives. Single males, weather they're married or not, are a problem for all nudist organizations. Wish this wasn't so but those are the facts.

My wife isn't part of my profile because I have a husband.  He's (of course) welcome to make his own profile, but he hasn't.  It's not complicated :)

Now that my wife is more comfortable as a nudist i thought of changing my profile to couple.  In order to make that change it says to revoke the cuurrent certification.  Sounds a bit exteme to me for such a minor change.  So mine will continue to say what it says.

I am married but don't place my wife's profile on here.  In fact I didn't think it necessary or a requirement.  I have only realieed recently that it is possible on this site to have two profiles under a single name.  Any other fora I am a member of, has one name - one person and the status married/single is simply information.

For the record my wife, whilst she has no problem with me being naked around the house, has not shown any inclination to join me in that activity.  She does, however, comfortably strip off on naturist beaches, whether official or unofficial. Her criterion is that most others around her would have to be naked.

    And that's it!

I too am here as a married male who's wife is not into social nudity. While she will shed her clothes when we go to the beach or out on the boat, she has no interest in visiting a club or other social venue. In all candor, as a couple we are not that social clothes on or off. I'm here because I like the fact that there is a place where I can share my thoughts on feeling the freedom of not wearing clothes. I like reading various forums and knowing that there are other kindred souls out there...

I have Married listed in my profile so I am not tying to hide anything here. My wife does not want any pictures of herself on the internet, even with her clothes on! She has a thing about it, and does not even have a Facebook account because of it. This is not because she does not like to be nude, she does where she feels comfortable, like at home and at certain resorts. I could go with the couples profile but then I would not be certified without her pictures...I felt the Male selection was the better option.

As a man whose nudist wife who does not use social media, including this site, I am a male on here who is married. It would be wrong to post as a married couple when only one of us does so.
