I'm a shaver. Use a beard trimmer on the rest of my pubes and body hair so it will all blend in, but I shave in the shower so I can soften the hairs with soap and water first and then just shave like normal. I nice aloe lotion daily helps keep the skin conditioned and moisturized as well as being fun putting it on...LOL!

i use a 5bladed razor and shaving cream gets close like shaving your face  and in my case you only have to do twice a week for a smooth look

have been shaved smooth since high school swimming.  felt so good to be smooth i only occasionally let it grow back to see what it looks like, and then off it goes.  been waxed nose to toes several times which lasts for about 6 weeks but usually just a fusion razor does the trick twice a week.  mmm looks like its time for a shave.

Waxing about once a month. Uses razor in between when hair grows back.
IPL and Laser should work well, however I have yet to find a place willing to do hair removal around genital area :D LOL

On my genitals, I use a Seiko Cleancut battery powered shaver.  On my abdomen I use the same electric razor that I use on my face.  I find that every other day is often enough.

thank you for your replies.. I am one of those guys that looks like a caveman if I do not shave... & razor means saving the body everyday or making do with "a rough patch" all over, which my spouse does not appreciate...

When I first started removing my hair I removed all of it, and it was fairly easy to maintain once I had removed. As time has gone by, years, many years I've gotten lazy and only shave my head, crotch, abs and chest. Luckily a good bit of hair has just stopped growing or growing fast anyway. My feeling about hair have changed too, I used to like the hairy look then as I started shaving I found smooth to be really nice looking. Now I'm back to but with a twist, I that both hairy and smooth have a lot to offer and can look really great. I think much depends on the guy too. Very nicely build men can carry off both, that leaves me out, and or course hair patterns play a big part too. Needless to say I'm a shaver and most likely always will be.
I often think about me in a Nursing home (someday) asking some young aid or assistant to please shave my body and seeing the strangest looks on their faces, as in why me God. Oh well that just where I am today on hair, maybe it too will change. Razors are getting expensive.

I get sugar treatments which are like waxing but they use an ancient Egyptian sugar-based gel. It is a little less painful than waxing but leaves the skin very smooth. The first couples of times were a challeneg but now I am used to it. My wife loves it!

I use a gillette fusion, on my head face and pubes. It works great. Shave in the shower, and use conditioner to soften the hair. That seems to help. I also get my chest and stomach waxed. It is fast and last about four weeks. It also does not hurt as bad as you are led to believe. Just make sure if it is your first time, you trim your hair a week or so before hand. Hurts less the shorter the hair is.

http://www.amazon.com/Philips-Norelco-BG2040-34-Bodygroom/dp/B0037HP9OABest thing ever.  Seriously. I don't shave everything off, but I do shave my balls and trim everything else.  My Philips razor gets rediculously close and has never cut, nicked or nicked me in any way.  It's really amazing how well it works.

Shaved for many years, then found a person to sugar which done regularly was not painful at all.  Now I am finishing my last laser treatment. Wonderful not having to shave.

I don't always go smooth, but I do on occasion. First off, I shave in the shower under fairly hot water. For the groin area, I use the Norelco BodyGroom electric razor. It's waterproof, not too expensive, and it's very safe, since that's what it's designed for! Just don't use it on your actual penis or scrotum. For my penis and scrotum, I use a regular safety razor and shaving cream for ultra-sensitive skin.
Once I've shaved it all smooth, I'll apply some aftershave lotion and a little corn starch to prevent itchiness or redness. Happy grooming!

I first tried a shaver and would get some nicks on my scrotum.  Then tried Veet which does a great job but literally burned my crotch.  Then I bought the Norelco bodygroom and since then am very happy with the results.

I have been a shaver for many years.  I make sure the razor (happens to be a four blade) is in very good shape - not dull.  Also have used both shave gel and hair conditioner.  The conditioner does leave me skin very soft.  Whatever way you choose, I like the look and feel and those people that say we shave in order to look like little boys are badly informed about the topic.  There's my "for what its worth."

I shave in the shower, about every other day.  I shave my entire body using a fusion razor and cocoa butter body lotion as a shaving cream; been doing it for about a year and a half now with no problems.

I agree and have used Body Groomer for 5 + years.   After shaving, use a good moisturizer every day after showering, and a face scrub lotion every week.  if you want an ultra smooth feel and reduce any red bumps or ingrown hairs, try the face scrub - feels great.

I've been shaving my pubic area for about 2 years but I usually get a lot of red bumps.  It also gets very inchy.  How do you keep from getting red bumps and ichy?
