  I've always been attracted to hairy, bearish men (wish I had more chest and belly hair myself!), but I like the pubic area shaved. I hate getting pubic hair in my mouth and down my throat when performing oral on a guy. I've heard some guys say they do it because it makes your cock look bigger. It probably does, but that isn't the reason for me. I shave my pubs because it really heightens my sexual experience.   I've never ever been a very hairy person, and probably couldn't even to this day grow a mustache to save my life. But it's all about personal preference and there really is no right or wrong, good or bad. I, for one, have kept things "down there" shaved smooth for quite some time. It's just the way I like to keep it.

  I am smooth myself, not much public viewable body hair. I keep my pubic and ass hair well shaved. But I have seen many hairy guys on nude and clothing optional areas I would say its a 60% smooth to 40% hairy mix. Based on my observations. I shave everything smooth for masseuses preference.

  Years ago I started to manscape. I began to notice how many guys had shaved balls. While in a nearby big city for a medical appointment I decided to get waxed. Full crotch and butt crack.   I've been smooth for decades. I find that when working outside or in the shop, I stay a lot cleaner without the hair. For me it's just a case of being practical.

  I shaved as I lived in a hot climate and it was more comfortable, at the time I also personally preferred that look for myself and others .
  Ive since let nature take its natural coarse ( with some light manscaping). I think I still prefer smooth on others

Thanks for sharing your ideas.[/quote] From my experience at naturist beaches, swims etc no most naturist men are not smooth. Most have body hair to some extent or other. At my closest swim, of the 15 or so regulars, one man is totally smooth and one shaves his pubic area. The rest of us are hairy. Whether are not a higher percentage of naturist men are smooth than the overall population I dont know. But in the end who cares?

I think that people can shave or trim their hair in any way that makes them comfortable or gives them a positive impression of nudity. Most people feel that long hair is a hassle, so they have hair cuts. (I personally had hair down to my shoulder blades at one point, but now it's a lot shorter.) Some men feel that facial hair is a hassle, so they shave or trim it. Some women feel that armpit or leg hair is just fine the way it is and doesn't need to be shaved off. Others feel that it's "unsightly," particularly if they've been raised to conform to some idea of fashion. Some people like to shave their pubic hair off to expose their labia or make their penises look bigger. If they feel more comfortable with that, I have no problem with it. Their bodies, their rules.

  First off let me start by saying I am moderately hairy. Some chest hair, very sparse back hair.... I actually had my first waxing experience last week. I have been shaving my pubic area and scrotum for some time now, and wanted to try getting a Brazilian. The results were great, very smooth, however it was a bit more painful than I had anticipated. (I now truly believe Steve Carell's reaction in the movie "The 40 Year Old Virgin" was absolutely real! lol). I think, at least for now, I'll stick to shaving. If I ever have the means, I'd consider laser removal as a more permanent solution.

  I personally prefer hairy men because it's more masculine to me. It could also be that I just never grew hair on my legs arms, chest and just enough to show I was a man around my penis. I think I always wanted to be hairy hence my preference. I think it just comes down to what makes you feel comfortable and more you. Some of you guys shedding hair. Can I have some lol
