Hi all, I'm almost sure that this has been discussed before, but, I'm very interested to know, what are your thought about nude men wearing a cockring in public? Do you find it offensive, or acceptable? I am very curious to hear your thoughts, and yes, I must admit, I do own several. I just like the look and feel, and I dont necessarily think that it has to be a sexual thing; more along the line of body adornment. How do you all feel about this?
Do straight guys wear them? I have only seen gay guys wearing them. In all the poem I have watched and beaches I have been to. I have only seen gay guys wearing them.
you should give it a try. so you would be the first 'hetero' guy EVER wearing one and you can tell the others how it feels like - or rather what it should feel like for a hetero guy :-)

I think its no different wearing a Cring to someone with pierced nipples, belly button piercing etc,I wear one sometimes and have seen others and find nothing offensive by it.

It's a shame some of the other cockring wearers on here cannot be as truthful, instead of making silly excuses and expecting us to believe them.

Cock Rings are a sexual aid for the impotent or near impotent, not jewelry.

I think it's like jewelry for your junk. Guys wear necklaces
around their neck. Why not give your package some attention. It's
not weird. But this thread exists because it's not common. I have
many of them but ordinarily don't wear them to nude things. I
should just so other men feel it's ok.Â

I've been wondering this myself after seeing a man with a ring on the end of his penis at a resort, and I thought it looked fine. A cock ring, to me, is a sexual device worn at the base of the penis. There's no reason to wear one in public. But what I would call a glans ring a simple adornment like a piercing. Now, I could see myself wearing one, but perhaps not if women are going to point and laugh.

IMHO it depends on the rules of whatever establishment your at and your intentions for wearing one.

Body jewelry and other adornment is a personal choice. No one should necessarily say that what you want to put on your body is right or wrong. But while tattoos and piercings might be covered up by clothes and only visible to others in private, as nudists our entire bodies and anything on it are viable to the public.

That said, some resorts and other clothing optional establishments have rules regarding body jewelry ranging from what parts of the body can have piercings to the size of the piercings themselves. And while it's a minor inconvenience to the wearer, they can be removed. The same can be said for genital rings.

When it comes to genital rings there's usually a question of why the person is wearing them in the first place. The usual purpose is to restrict blood flow and aid in maintaining an erection during intercourse.  But rings come in various sizes and materials. Some are ornate enough that they are jewelry.

I have a large collection of rings myself and would wear them in environments where they were considered somewhat appropriate. People usually fond them interesting and it would be a convenient conversation starter to overcome my shyness. But I have found that some people do consider them to be a purely sexual devise and might question my reasons for wearing them. So I don't wear them as often as I used to. Still I do have several that fit at the top of the shaft behind the glands which I find to be a convenient compromise to getting an actual piercing that I still like to wear.

People often find the ridiculous interesting, but only for about five minutes then it's just plain old ridiculous again.

I wonder if 10/15 years ago people would laugh at a nudist with no pubic hair.  Some things that were ridiculous years ago might become more main stream as time moves forward.  If the old guard nudist continues to rule then young nudists who have piercings/tattoos and wear ornamental jewelry may stay as home nudists instead of joining resorts thus possibly lowering a needed revenue stream as the old guard dies off.
You are absolutely correct.  I can deal with the genital jewelry as my focus is higher up, but it is difficult to engage in conversations with individuals who look like a loaded pincushion.

I've seen a few of these but am unsure about the purpose of wearing one on a public beach, albeit a CO / legal nude beach.
Thought the purpose was to use them after your penis was erect or partly erect, so assume they are to assist if you have trouble maintaining an erection for the purposes of sex.
Seems to me guys who wear these on a nude / CO beach do so to show off their full or partial erection, to make their penis look bigger or to attract the attention of either other men or women.
Comments here indicate that many women laugh and think they are ridiculous (either silly or unnecessary) in public.   I note they do draw female attention and comment.
There are plenty of comments on this site saying we should discourage sex on the beach at legal CO / nude beaches.
So while we can ignore such rings are we just condoning sexual behaviour or guys trying to engage in casual hook ups at the beach?
If people meet at a beach and leave and go somewhere else and engage in sex, that is their business.  However I don't believe we should encourage it at legal CO beaches, that sort of behaviour can cause complaints from the public to police and others in authority who make the rules that govern the legality of our nude / CO beaches.
Some of the beaches I go to have people having sex in the dunes or even in the open, it is common.  I've been invited to participate or watch but have always graciously (in my opinion) declined, this is not why I go to these beaches.
A concern of mine is the reducing numbers of people at the legal CO beaches I go to, especially women and what seems to be more sexual behaviour.  I'm concerned that this behaviour will raise complaints and threaten the closure or removal of the legal status of these CO beaches.
Is this too much, am I drawing too long a bow here?  Or are they just the same as a prince albert for guys who don't want a piercing.
Thought I would throw this into the debate and see what happens.
Cheers, SBN.

Well, personally I would not wear one at all, or tattoos either for that matter, but I no problem with others that want too, it your choice, not others as to what body jewelry, tattoos or body hair for that matter, I am naturally smooth clean shaven up and down, that is my choice, and I feel that others should do what they like or comfortable with.   Mike
Well said ,each to there own...................................... Hi All I wear Cock Rings well I call them bangles sounds nicer. I wear the rings that go over your balls and cock that sit flat against you pubic region. I wear them for looks only as I have several metal designs in stainless steel. I never brought these for the intention of a sexual aid more for just the looks and feel of them. My wife is happy for me to wear them on occasions at some nudist beaches as there not ones that standout and say hey look at my Cock and I am not erect while wearing them im soft all the time. My wife agrees peoples just jump straight to conclusions on these things and why men buy them. Well I can say it was totally for the looks We both have piercing as well so I find no different to having these in some areas of woman and men. Its just a look for me and not there to say hey come look at my cock, most people don't even care. Just my view that its not all about sex and some rings are made just for jewellery for your penis like your ears neck nipples. :)

If I'm on a public CO beach.  I will wear what I want.  These days the numbers of nudists on a CO beach are much lower than those wearing something.  Toronto's Hanlan's Point is likely about 70% wearing some type of swimsuit.  There are a few more radical people who actually go up to those that are wearing a bathing suit and tell them this is a CO beach, they should be nude.  CO does not equal nude in my opinion.  However, I will, and do wear a cockring on the beach and I'm not the only man who does.  If you don't like the look of it no one is forcing you to have your eyes focused on my genitals.  Laugh all you want.
