I've heard "Balls Balm" is the latest and greatest and you can get it via Amazon.com

Good luck and happy hunting :)

A cheep razor will only get you nicks and problems.  I have good results with a Mark 3.  Do it in the shower it only takes a few seconds.

I shave whenever I shower but my best shave is with my norelco bodygroomer.  I first spread vitamin e oil on and then shave with the norelco. It gives me a close and smooth shave and oils the blades too.

I've never had a problem with ingrown hairs, but do get general razor burn some. A little aloe helps for me.

Pubic hair is different to other body hair and much less likely to become ingrown through shaving. I have never had a problem with it, but used to have the odd few on the rest of my body.

Always make sure you wear loose fitting clothes for a couple of days after shaving, or better still, no clothes at all. The only time I have experienced any problems with body shaving, is when wearing tight fitting clothes afterwards.

I've found that Gold Bond medicated itch powder helps after you have thoroughly dried off.  Use for as long as it is itchy.  Keeps you dry too.  But always use a fresh blade.
how do u shave you genitals without getting ingrown hairs?
I find that using a product called tendskin really reduces the amount of ingrown hairs. Also if you have in grown hairs it shrinks them down to almost nothing. It does sting a little but nothing unbearable.

I use a good quality disposable razor.  Lather up, stretch and go slow.. rinse often. And the question was how to... Not a request to debate.  Show some respect to others posts and don't bomb them.  It's impolite.
I have a similar problem and concern. Been to meets with guys who are smooth. But concerned not about ingrowing but nicking myself. Is there a good cream. Trying to find this one recommended on amazon. Would it be easier to get someone else to do it??
I get a rash at times near my Adam's apple.  I guess shaving my genitals was similar in the way my face reacted when I first started shaving.  It felt a bit weird. I got a rash etc.  after doing it for awhile my skin became used to it. I haven't used balms although I do on my neck.
As far as knicks,  there is a chance, but you'll learn your landscape, just like your jawline and know what pressure to apply where and what angle to hold the razor.
I've used creams, home and proffesional waxing, flame etc.  I stick with a razor.

Going commando helps to prevent post-shaving issues. This lets the skin breath and prevents chaffing.

I have never shaved round my genitals but do give myself a light trim every couple of months.  I simply don't think that men or women look natural without pubic hair.  Then it is a matter of personal preference.

I don't get ingrown hairs on my scrotum or perineum.  I do get ingrown hairs in my pubic area so now I only clip short, not shave.

I love the look and feel of shaving my pubic hair, but usually within an hour of shaving I break out in hundreds of little red pimples.  That is quite unpleasant and itchy.  Looks nasty too.  I'd love to be smooth without that problem.
For me,I shave in the shower every day.The skin gets used to it and I no longer get any bumps or redness.
Agreed.  I've shaved everything since I was 14 and you just get used to it...  Go with the grain and it's pretty comfy.
