I’m detecting some fun here.   I’ve noticed recently that some of you seem to be enjoying this Forum too much. Humorous and lighthearted responses to posts and friendly bantering certainly have no place here. So, knock it off!We have serious subjects to discuss and there is no time for these frivolous activities.   Some of these subjects include but are not limited to:  1. Can I still be a nudist if I leave my socks on?  2. Will my laundry detergent spoil if I go without clothes for too long?  3. Is it my PC that’s making me look fat in nude pictures?  4. Why don’t my nudist friends recognize me when I have clothes on?  5. Why do I always have to cook the bacon?  6. Insect bites in sensitive places, scratch or not scratch?   (I hope that you have formed a mental picture of the tongue in my cheek.) It has been missed on several occasions. This is all in fun and is no way designed to poke fun at sincere newbie questions which I always attempt to answer to the best of my ability. Note to Linda: I’m still laughing at the post that you directed at me. I’m sure that you know the one. Last Page:http://www.truenudists.com/forum/viewthread.php?id=5766&page=10

I was going to say, in my sternest typing, "You people are having entirely too much fun."  But then -- 'tis true:  to be a nudist does require a sense of humor.  Carry on.  And on.  And on. Badger
Use caution when encouraging madness!
As the saying goes, "everytime I look at myself naked in the mirror I have to laugh or cry - which will it be today?"
Your reference to the mirrors may be the basis for Serious Topic #13A. If full length mirrors were installed in the nudist clubhouse, which would gain more members, the club or Weight Watchers?

If full length mirrors were installed in the nudist clubhouse, how many would be seen running screaming in the opposite direction?

Perhaps only small hand held mirrors should be allowed least the clubs lose many of their members.

    15. Why all the talk about possible fakes on the site? I for one, am very insulted that anyone would think that I’m a pretty, young woman posing as an old man.

Could someone, please, clarify the issue of “When to sit on a towel”. The discussion has gone on for many months but I still have several questions.

My husband used to wish there was a way to take his coffee intravenously. He has since cut down considerably and I have quit drinking it completely.

I cant help but reply to the "Can I be a nudist if I keep my socks on" reminds me of a skit on an Aussie TV comedy show "The Chasers War on Everything". They regularly had someone posing as a "Parking Inspector" type character handing out fines for bizzare infringements. One such skit included the inspector handing out fines on a nude beach (Sydney) for people who weren't nude...ie wearing a hat, sandles, watch, jewelery, etc....
A nude beach here would be as much use a speedboat, I live about 75 miles inland!
A bucket of sand and a splash of water is all you need to create your own beach. All it takes is a wee bit of imagination.

Years ago there was a place in Mineral Wells Ms. that was a giant swimming pool with beach all the way arount it. The entire area, floor of the pool and all, was white sand. Diving boards, floating "islands" and Hawaiian themed tiki huts by the snack bar. It has shut down in recent years and I never understood why. I had been going there for 20+ years and went one day only to find the doors shut and locked. It was a real dissapointment. I still remember how it felt the first time I went. At 8 or 9 years old, the thought of a pool with a sand floor was just too cool.
