Sex-Shaming

I just read through the comments on a topic titled "This Sites Culture." Many commenters expressed negative feelings about people who posted naked body images with no faces. Others referred to people who post content they considered sexual as "bad." Well, my feelings on this topic may offend some. But, oh well, here goes: One of my issues with the nudist/naturist community is how much they seem to like to sex shame. Sex-shaming is, after all, just another form of body-shaming. I wrote some about this in a recent blog post titled [link]/link/4e54463aa4d7bfa7/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cubmFrZWR1bmFzaGFtZWQub3JnL3Bvc3QvY29uc3RydWN0aXZlLXdheXMtdG8tY2VsZWJyYXRlLWFuZC1wcm9tb3RlLW51ZGlzbQ%3D%3D[/link]Constructive Ways to Celebrate and Promote Nudism. Sure nudism isn't about sex. Nudity and sex are, however, linked in multiple ways. Furthermore, there is nothing wrong with that. And, one thing is certain: if we accepted and embraced the notion that humans are sexual creatures then nude-shaming would be a thing of the past. Sex-shaming others actually perpetuates naked-shaming. As to why some people chose to NOT post photos that include their faces here is a fact: Some people simply cannot risk doing that. I am one of those. In my day job, I am somewhat of a public figure and if my naked body with face was out on the Internet my career would be over. That is a sad statement about the culture we live in. But, it is a fact. And, IMO, y'all who are on the "others are not nudists the way *I* am a nudist so they are bad" bandwagon are living in a paradigm that is not really much different than the modern culture which says your nudism is bad. Shaming others for expressing their nakedness/sexuality differently than you do is no different than the people who would shame you for being a nudist. You can't have it both ways. Live and let live. And, treat others as you would like to be treated. Then, the culture here will be just fine.
Lee I like you, but you dont half go on some times. I belong to other specialist interest site. One is for video gaming. Everyone on it is a video gamer, we all have that in common. In over 15 years no one has seen the need to ask.... is it ok to pee in the sink. No one has ever mentioned getting an erection while playing Tomb Raider. Minecraft players never mention if they like to wear a cock ring or not. And its the same for all the other complete nonsense that the morons here ask. Is it really the case....We dont wear clothes here so lets discus kinky stuff.... is this what you want associated with what its like to be a naturist? We are all adults. But we dont all behave like it.
I am personally thrilled to hear about your gaming experience with no sexual harassment or rabid misogyny ( and forgive me I am not privy to the moderation and membership process and protocols of your other group) but I can assure you that it's far far far from the norm in gaming culture and online gaming discourse in particular. You don't want to see or hear any of it as it is often the foulest stuff imaginable. I'm definitely curious though if this group is a small group of friends a well moderated forum or something else? It's maybe a template for positive change. The site here isn't moderated heavily or consistently and I understand that is resource based and is consistent as long as I've been a member. Rather than these endless squabbles (with no prejudice) is it not possible for us to request better compartmentalization and naturist content leading with the (seemingly) endless but what about boners threads going in the sex section and repeat topics archiving in one thread? Or is this the format nevermore? I realize you don't have the site's answer but you might have some input or insight. Mobilizing the moderate voices to start directing discussions of bodies functions and the s word act to the one area designated for it and putting the rants and frustrations as well as naturist philosophy on these issues in their own threads takes out the delicious conflict that (ok I am guilty as charged) makes these things blow up and in the mid to longer term ends up with less content that is not naturist focused over the site broadly and a better understanding of what belongs where. I know the s section is not naturist nor liked by some of the members but the carrying on in it just eggs many on to not care about their conduct site wide. Human nature is such that it is not reasonable to expect folks who are directed to only talk about the s word in a special section who then get harried for it there endlessly to care about the rules of expected conduct elsewhere. Is it possible to get people to care more and as a result self moderate? Pretty sure it is but some truces might be in order.

I too am a public figure. I am an elected official and cannot risk showing my face due to the societal perception of nudity. I hope someday, America will be more open and accepting of social nudity, and not always link it mistakenly with sexual acts or perversity.

It looks like you took some time to think things through Wolf.

Its a bit long winded, I have a much shorter list.

1.) People who practice social nudity on a beach, resort or club already
know how to behave and what is appropriate. They dont need a list.

2.) People who have never experienced social nudity already know how to behave in an appropriate way.

3.) Some people dont want or know how to act appropriated so they join a website like this.

4.) people act in a moronic way by not knowing how they behave is not appropriate. If you have a sexual question, or about bodily functions take them to a website set up for that. This one isnt.

5.) Who are the people who decide what is appropriate..... your society. Youre still part of it, in or out of underpants.
You have as they say the patience of Job to try make sense of the senseless and speak truth to those who would wallow in faux ignorance to perpetuate their fallow proclivities. Glad you are inclined to take it on though.

Im in lock down, I have time.

Wolf, you really are a superior human being, Almost Jesus like (maintaining the biblical link)

Please tell me how you can go through a day, a week, a lifetime not seeing anything moronic, offensive or just plain wrong. Your world must be like Eden.

I know the site has a sex and sexuality forum but it also has a statement at the bottom of every page you look at on the site...

True Nudists is for genuine nudists, if you are seeking sexual content please use True Swingers.

Its on every page, every single page.... even in the sex and sexuality forum. Bit of a paradox that. Maybe the owners who set up the forums were not clever that day. Who knows... God or his son probably... or maybe the superior Mr Wolf?

    Faux outrage... I like that.

    As a side note.

Apparently 24th of April 2020 will go down in history as the day the worlds news media used the word Moron to describe a person. (Something to do with injecting people with disinfectant.)

Thats not me MR Wolf, its the entire world.

    Ok.... I admit it....

Everything Ive ever said on here Ive meant it SARCASTICALLY Just so you would react.

I actually shave my pubes so I can get more cock rings on. Im the Liberace of nudism with my penis jewellery.

I dont just pee in the sink, Ive peed in all your sinks and not bothered to turn the tap on after, enjoy your coffee.

When I sit on the toilet I have to use all my hands and the toilet brush to keep my dick in the bowl.

I use my erection to give directions on the beach.... the sea is over there, the dunes are over there, the prudes are over there and everyone who likes my cock waving around are right here. Isnt it a nice one?

I woke up one morning aged 51 and three quarters , decide Id like everyone to appreciate my engorged cock, so I googled nice cocks and young bisexual pretend women who also have one and it led me here.

Ive not been disappointed yet, Ive found my kindred spirits here. Im touching it now.

Up TN and all who swing here.

PS, Im one of the nice ones.

PPS, Im not here for sex, but if anyone wants it my email is.... bigShagger@hotstiffy.com

PPPS... Im not really bisexual but I can do it with my eyes closed.
I am posting this in a totally incorrect place. I have been attempting to get something addressed and hope someone who is paying attention to our conversation knows how to get it addressed: I have not figured out how to report this: https://www.truenudists.com/group/nudist-photo-montages/. Others have seen it better here: https://www.truenudists.com/groups/?sort=lastupdate&name=nudist+photo-montage&public=&media=%20and%20sent%20a%20response%20under%20%22report%20bug/issue%22 "Nudist Photo-montages" has a photo on the splash page that is pornography. Apparent, 779 members are members. This is pornography. Hiding an erection in a woman's rectum is not discreet. Having the woman grab erect penises to hide them in her hands is not discreet. If anyone knows who and how to report it, please do!
Save yourself some time and don't report anything. Reporting accomplishes nothing. I have reported a so called member who did nothing but openly abuse men. When 'she' was finally kicked out of chat, 'she' came right back with a brand new profile. Nothing was ever done to rid the site of this man hating creep. This site has long ago ceased being a site for 'true nudists'. If this site was for 'true nudists' then the site would be cleaned up by getting rid of the garbage. This will never happen. Good luck and hope you find true nudists in the real world. What happens over and over again on this site is enough to put anyone off nudism for life.

If the site was properly moderated it would have the potential to be the largest best site for nudists.

Id give modding powers to people who have a real sense of what it is to be a nudist, someone whos superior. Whos already found and called out inappropriate material and judged it unfit for this site, come business. But then, Id probably be the first to get banned.
