I had never heard of a place with a rule like that. Interesting.

I've been in nudist clubs where there is a requirement that men must be fully nude, whereas women needn't be. The logic there is that a woman would typically feel quite uncomfortable in an environment where she were nude and there were clothed males running around. Of course the part about penises being "visible" may be a bit of an exaggeration, but nevertheless consistent with what it means to be nude, if you're a guy.

OllyDec 5, 2016I've never been to a place where they discriminated to the point that men must be naked whilst women can chose. I have been to ones where everyone had to be naked and others where everyone could chose. On my many visits to naturist venues and beaches I have only seen two erections. I one case (judging by tan lines) the man was new to nudism and rushed into the sea to hide his embarrassment. The other time was as we arrived for a nude feast. Those who arrived clothed stripped off on arrival. It included one couple. Immediately after a particularly attractive lady arrived and undressed. The man suffered an immediate erection which we all ignored. Having said that there are places like the far beach at Cap d'Agde where erections, and sexual activity, are not uncommon.

I get them too, usually my wife discreetly uhhh handles it so it is not an ongoing problem. The key word is discreetly. There was a guy next to us last time who had the hard high one going for a long time and was not discreet. He was very proud of the wee thing. It happens, but be discreet

ManOfWicklowDec 29, 2016
An erection is a normal, physiological response of a healthy body. While it does suggest sexual interest in gay or straight men it's nothing to be ashamed of and it's part of being nude. Sport it with pride. It's not different than hard, erect nipples on her breasts. i may have already commented on this.
Another Moronic post to give nudism a bad name and deter genuine nudists from joining this site.ReactReply - MEMemberDec 30, 2016
Enjoy it, some day you might not be able to get an erection. After my chemo my member was dead for a long time, slowly it is coming back to life

ManOfWicklowMar 11, 2017A boning knife is a type of kitchen knife with a sharp point and narrow blade. It is used in food preparation for removing the bones of poultry, meat, and fish. ... A stiff boning knife is good for boning beef and pork, but a very flexible boning knife is preferred for poultry and fish.ReactReply - NE
NeoSeekMar 11, 2017I guess the more time you spend practicing nudism, the erections will stop. When I first got into the lifestyle, I got rock hard every time, but it doesn't happen so much anymore.

Brett RapleyMar 16, 2017
I truly do not understand that rules at resorts that prohibit a man from showing an erection. It's a perfectly natural reaction and response and to force nudist men to hide erections is nothing more than male body shaming. i was raised in a nudist home and erections were common and fully accepted. I'm not comfortable going to a resort and being told otherwise. I really don't understand the nudist prudes that impose these rules.
That's the point, they are prudes ! They have it in their heads that they are the Guru's of what is right/wrong with naturism and nudity, when they are far from it.ReactReply - MA

LongjpeMar 31, 2017Been to a few places, camps Don't usually have it happen. if subject of sex or interest, likes,
dislikes Mainly likes it has . Nothing to be upset over.. I model Has never happen. Even with ladies there. it's all cool Things like massage may cause this reaction. Then don't put one's self into situation.. A person is that a person treat them that way. Bottom line you don't go to camp to get a woody. it's about being nude.ReactReply - LO

MarkApr 7, 2017
IMHO as a gay nudist as well, I think that male arousal is perfectly natural. Likewise, whether gay nudists, gay friendly or male friendly nudists people will recognize this as well. True Nudists respect this and only true prudists will assume you have some "perverted" motive and chastise you for it. Still, whether you're 14 of 47 it is nudist etiquette to not expose your erection. Simply roll on your stomach, jump in the pool or cover yourself with a towel until it goes away.
I agreeReactReply - BR
Brett RapleyApr 16, 2017
Covering up is not an option at the social nudist group I attend. It is clothing optional for women, but men must have their penis visible at all times. I believe this is to prevent men who stare at women etc.
That sounds rather sexist ! In fact it makes a mockery of the whole point of being naked in a group. To me that is putting men on the spot so that they don't get erect. That is wrong. If it's a nudist group, then EVERYONE should be naked, not just the guys. Feel free to comment on my words. I personally feel that the above is wrong ! Just my opinion.ReactReply - MA
