Shorter Shorts — The Mens Room on True Nudists

Some of my gym shorts are wearing out so I ordered 2 new pair yesterday.
Since our grandson is here more and I am going less places that expect better dress, my gym shorts have seen a lot of use lately
My current supply has inseams in the 8" (20 cm) range, well above the knee but not really short.
Wanted to try something shorter so I ordered one pair with a 4" inseam and one with 5".
Will be fine at home, but don't know how it will work when I eventually get back to the gym. One of the reviewers called them the ideal work at home uniform. I suspect most of us would disagree and say that the ideal at home work uniform is nothing at all!

When I got them I was surprised how weak the elastic was, but they are very light and should stay in place on land. Wouldn't trust them on a boom net. Their fit is more cheeky than the photos on the site suggest, too, which is unusual for Skinz - all my other suits were true to the website. They have a very sensual feel, though. No side seams, no leg elastic and a very soft fabric. I'll have no problem wearing them there, or other beaches for that matter.

What is a boom net. I haven't bought many things from Skinz, but I did have one item that was more revealing than expected. I bought a sunseeker rio and the front and back panels were about 4" wide, basically covering my cock, balls and crack but nothing else. More revealing than the photo suggested. If something that short has no leg elastic, what keeps everything from falling out? I guess you intend just use them as beach wear, not going into town or even working in your front yard.

I was up earlier than my wife and son but thought I heard our grandson so I pulled on a pair of my 5" gym shorts.
He saw me and complained that they were too short.
Unlike the first time he did so, I didn't tell him that if he didn't like them I would take them off.
If he does it again, I probably will.

Yes, home work uniform is nothing, but as a style shorts are getting short again. Thank goodness, I found the knee length shorts very uncomfortable.

Realized that while I posted this in several places, this was the most logical and not one of them.
Now that I have decided not to go back to the gym I will not need as many pair of gym shorts and have no need of anything longer than 5". Should I toss my remaining 8" gym shorts now or wait until they wear out and not replace them?

8" shorts are shredded and in the trash. Waited until today so I would have time to destroy them at my leisure , but once I got started, I couldn't help ripping them quickly and getting the pieces in the trash. Ripped up a t shirt too while I was at it. A long sleeve t shirt will go as soon as the weather gets warmer. Don't intend to ever again wear gym shorts with more than a 5" inseam.

As the person who started this thread my only comment is that for me, nude and clothed are not completely either or but more of a continuum. The shorter my shorts are and the less my shirt covers, if I am wearing one at all, the closer I am to being nude.

I was in a Zoom meeting wearing a t shirt and my 5" inseam gym short. I stood up to get something and someone said "If you are in your boxers you shouldn't stand up." I just said "They're gym shorts" and sat down Should have said "I would never do that since I don't own underwear" but though that might be TMI.

I know I should get it fixed, but if I don't I can participate in Zoom meetings without wearing anything!

I've gone the opposite direction. Instead of really small, I went really big. I wear way oversized basketball shorts and cut the liner out. They are snug around the waist -- too keep them up -- but can hardly feel them otherwise. Would only be better if they were made of silk.

I know long and loose work well for some people but I don't like the feel of material around my knees. Snug on the mid and upper thighs is usually fine.

Shortest shorts feel more annoying and confining every time I wear them. Considering either opening the side and crotch seams for more freedom or just ripping them to shreds. Anyone prefer one idea over the other?

Now that I am so comfortable with my 5" inseam gym shorts, I am seriously considering replacing my 8" cargo shorts with something the same length.
Any opinions or experience with this type of shorts?

Saw this in an ad. It could have a different meaning if you don't click on the link represented by the last two words.
With a 5" inseam, RedHead Beachcomber shorts are a little easier to move, hike, and Show more.

2.5" for me today, celebrating a bit of warmth returning Downunder. Just enough, although I should have sized up as the fabric is non-stretch.
