I saw a man on a nude beach wearing a penis ring. Any thoughts?

All nudists are not the same. We like being without clothes, but in different settings and circumstances. Same with body jewelry and other modifications, such as earlobe spacers, tattoos etc. Let's just take others as they are and who they are.

EarlDNov 26, 2022
So at a nude beach, a guy with a cock ring or a glans ring is OK, as long as he isn't flaunting a boner. (And by "flaunting," I mean making a point of calling attention to it. If he's got a boner but is still polite and deferential, I'll just be patient in the knowledge that it will probably go away of its own accord.)
So what I understand from this comments is that the guy at the beach is fine walking around with an erection and cock ring as long he isnt calling attention to it. This is exactly the kind of behavior that the non naturist seize on and describe led and get clothing optional beaches shut down. It isnt rocket science to see that making allowance for that will eventually lead to the closure of what few beaches we have for nude recreation in the U.S. Maybe that is the goal as long as those who choose that behavior can "express" themselves.ReactReply - HA

My wife and I visited Haulover in Feb 22. Our first trip there, we have been to Couples In Ocho Rios and were nude. But Couples nude area is on an island with few others.
Haulover was awesome. We both loved it. And I noticed a lot of gay and straight guys with cock rings. Im 100% straight, but I did check out every dudes package and felt much better about my own. We will go back this coming year as well I hope. And I plan on sporting some rings. They feel good, and its no different than a female wearing a push up bikini top or bra. To enhance and show off sexy and taboo parts of their bodies. I cant wait. Not sure if were nudists, as the opportunity is rare and hard to find here without going to a seedy resort in the mountains or to a swingers club. On a recent getaway, we had sex multiple times with our curtains wide open and people were having business meetings in the office directly across from us. It was awesome for us both. Back to the beach, it was invigorating and very erotic to be laying next to my hot wife, both of us naked in front of 1000 people who we will never see again. Some naked, some probably perverts, some just enjoying a very cool place. But we both cant wait to return. Maybe were more exhibitionists but I wanted to get comments and ideas for any other classy places in the southeast.ReactReply - ST

HDlonewolfNov 29, 2022You say they look ridiculous..yet you shave your pubic region....why? Do you like the way it feels? Do you like drawings attention to your genitals? The feel of being hairless? The feelings during sexual contact?
I have been a nudist more than 35 years and seen the advent of no one shaved their genitals to..OMG...they still have a full bush...shaving feels better sexually and the freedom of it as well. It is accepted now. The feel of a c ring and or a glans ring equates to the same feeling for me.
I learned body acceptance as a nudist. At a nudist resort, I saw women wearing a waist chain with pendants.. drawing attention to the lower region of the body to include the pubic region. Women get the "hood" pierced for similar reasons. Yet it is accepted just like nipple piercings.
So if you are offended...why are you a nudist? Dont you wish to be accepted for your decision to be nude?
I have seen guys with erections on beaches and at clubs. ...that didnt have a c ring or glans ring... it happens! When you are a 20 something and testosterone is flowing...they just happen! Let it happen!
The first statement was that they saw a man with a penis ring...no mention of an erection. Yet most of you took it to this level. If you are against it...then let your pubic hair grow and hide your penis and stop being a hypocrite.
These are just my opinions and not forcing my thoughts on anyone...just want you to thin

EarlDNov 29, 2022Some of the comments here show why nudism will struggle to be accepted because it the current conventional wisdom anyone who takes their clothes off is a nudist. Whatever behavior that a person does while naked is ok because it is nudist because nudism equals naked. It reminds me of two things one is nudism/naturism is a way of life not a state of dress. Also this from Marc Alain Descamps one of the greatest naturist minds now mostly ignored
[em][strong]Insofar as there is a non-negligible percentage of individualists who affirm: "Everyone lives their naturism, as they see fit", no agreement is possible. However, there must be a minimum of agreement on the rules of football to decide that we are going to play football together. And what about those who would say: "Everyone lives their highway code, as they see fit"?]/b][/strong][/em] [strong]from the naturist society project.
If we need some rules to live as a society like rules of the road while do the individualists insist on having no rules no norms anything goes thinking when it come to nudism. They challenge people like me to think about why we are nudists and call us prudes or asexual and play the what about ism game. When in truth the thoughtlessness and sexual perspective is just a projection to try and discount differing perspectives. So tell us why do you think everyone should do anything they want naked and call it nudism.[/strong]ReactReply - ST

Some people find they look ridiculous, much like a man with a combover, its as if the wearer is trying to compensate for something thats missing. I dont care what people do to augment their bodies, but you should be aware of a few facts. 1. It is almost exclusively single men who choose wear stuff on their dick. why this is I can guess but its only a personal opinion. 2 A cockazzel does not ingratiate a single man to other naturists, quite the opposite reaction is usual. Thats not an opinion, thats observed fact over many years of study. 3 it is almost exclusively single me who join things such as The Erection Acceptances Group, and bleat on about how its nothing to hide. This also wont ingratiate you to other real world naturists. 4 You say you are looking for a woman to share naturism with. Good luck with that, if you are wondering why they are turning their back to you, its probably because of the suns glair reflecting off the cutlery drawer hanging between your legs.ReactReply - ST

JimNov 29, 2022Great comments everyone.
Is the nudist lifestyle dying ? Hard for me to say. Or what is happened to people in the past few years ?
Things are getting better, I hope. The 60s was free love and the playboy way of looking at women. Now the women have to have fake this and that. Men wear the longest shorts ever and dress like slobs. Where women are dressed to show as much beauty, that they bought.
I have seen pictures of my Dad when he was in high school and at the beach. They had small suits with belts. They would do things like lifting each other up into the air. Now if you even touch another man or boy you are gay or a perv. What has changed may not be for the best.
As for wearing c-rings, they are jewelry only. Not something to hate, just jewelry so dont look if you dont want to see them. We dont look at each others genitalia anyway. At least thats what a nudist is supposed to do. Freedom to be what and who we are is what everyone is striving to accomplish.
I am not single and my wife does not wear genital jewelry but does have a tattoo close to. But I love wearing my rings. They feel good ! And yes I wear them to nudist events. Even to naturist events ! Its freedom to be out of the textile world. Even the textile world makes you do what they want you to look like. Why force their beliefs on someones naked body. Its just jewelry !
Healthy, over or under weight, scars, hair, smooth ! Being naked is what matters! I dont care if you are swinger, or just a nudist. Dont judge the person by what you see. The cover is not what the book is ! There are amazing people in this world, so enjoy meeting everyone. You never know who that next person will be to your future.

StevieLornaNov 29, 2022When we go to the nude beach, we, along with all the other naturist use and enjoy the beach in exactly the same way the textiles do. When we go to a naturist resort, we use and enjoy that exactly the same way textiles do at their resorts.
It amuses me when I read that these are the naturists that are the reason naturism is in decline and the ones saying that are usually the ones brining their own agenda and demands people should change to accept them.
It doesnt seem reasonable to the members of Locker Room Exhibitionists that they are actually the problem.

To each there own. :-)
Wearing a cock ring or penis ring makes you no less of a nudist / naturalist than anyone else. Everyone has a right to wear genital jewelry or not to wear it.. but condemning those those that do decide to wear such items makes you judgmental, intolerant, and less accepting of others. Nudist parks, resorts, and social gatherings are informal social places for those of us who are comfortable with our naked bodies.
I wonder how many of the negative responders to this particular feed also silently judge others nudists bodies ..?? Food for thought.
ReactReply - MEMemberNov 29, 2022
Those who think that individual expression rises above everything are as much purists as those of us who want nudism and naturism to be no sexual in nature. The nature of genital jewelry is sexual and any pretense that it isnt designed to draw attention to sexual organs is just that pretense and gaslighting in order to pursue an individual agenda regardless of how is seems to anyone else. This kind of toxic individuality is why societies and institutions no longer have any clout and we no longer have any interest in the common good. As to nudists being tolerant they are no or less tolerant than any other segment of society. The attempt to shame those who simply express their opinion and view that nudism/naturism is non sexual in terms of public expressions of sexual behavior is nothing but a false flag and paper tiger meant to silence our voices. So the same people who say they must be allowed self expression turn around and attempt to quell the same when it doesnt serve their purpose. We seeit in the broader society and we see it in what now passes for nudism online. I wish everyone would just be honest and be transparent about motives and intentions. That is not the world we live in however so we are left with the muddle of comments that have been shared here. It is no longer that society as a whole is moving away from nudist acceptance. In countries like Germany and the UK where naturists have worked hard to define public social nudity as non sexual there are many more opportunities for social and solo public nudity. While in the US clothing optional spaces and venues decline every year. But maybe that is what the individuals want because then their individual expression will stand out.
So clotheshomefree-- what exactly is your motivation and intention here..? Just dont tell me its the same as wearing a watch. It really isnt and you all know it. Yeah I mean I really hate to have my intelligence insulted by that gaslighting idea of it being "just" body jewelry. As you said if they would just be transparent about it then it would clearly come done to a matter of choice. But trying to say its just like other types of jewelry is misleading at minimum.
OH.. so this makes the mud a little clearer.. Your responses here, clothesfreehome, is all about your PERCEPTION.. how you perceive others should conduct themselves in accordance of how you feel others express themselves. BINGO..!! No one is insulting your intelligence.. but you cannot / should not tell others how to live their lives. Don't like body jewelry then look away, keep your comment to yourself, and continue to live your life. Question: are the guys wearing cock rings and penis ring coming up and rubbing these directly in your face..?? StevieLornaNov 29, 2022Amazing isnt it.
Its my right to wear cock rings, its my freedom to choose, its my opinion that matters its me who is a naturist just as much you and if you dont agree , then you are just being judgmental and must think that person is unfit because he drinks tea, its all about me, me, me. You arent allowed an opinion.

Wow, this is quite a discussion"". it has raised very strong opinions. I agree with the opinion, to each their own, it's about choice. People are judgmental of us as nudists arguing we are shoving nudity in their faces (not sure how if they choose to come to a nudist beach), why are we being judgmental of other nudists. Body piercings and tattoos don't seem to raise this type of reaction, why cock rings / body adornments or whatever? If men at the beach wearing a said ring walks around with a hard-on appearing to be seeking attention then that's different. I object to people coming to the beach for sex in the dunes, pretending that is what nudism / nude beaches are about. If a guy wears a c-ring and is doing nothing else, what is the issue, his choice, but if there is other inappropriate behaviour for a CO beach, then that's different, call him out.

If you want to read it as a judgement thats up to you. I keep saying you have and those who think like you do have a right to your opinion just not to alternative facts every description and explanation of the function of cock rings is sexual. If you read the whole thread you will find my evidence for that. I believe that the sexual nature of the cock ring makes it inappropriate in a nudist setting because it communicates the exact thing that is driving the decline of public nude spaces in the U.S. As long as people thing nudism is simply a precursor to sexual activity it will continue to be stigmatized diminished and isolated. There are those who think it is there individual right of expression to do what ever they want and call it nudism. They are free as are you to do so and I am free to call it out and offer an opposing view. It would interesting to see any evidence that this behavior and I emphasizebehaviorserves anything but individual self interest. If I were presented with that I would have to consider but since that is never any such evidence in those conversations (and I use the word lightly ) only diatribes and accusations of judgement I will stick you my opinion and voice it as would as you do yours. clothesfreehome-- your "opinion" is more of an accusation that anyone that wears a cock ring or penis ring is wearing it for sexual pleasure. You have a right to your opinion.. no doubt, but throwing around the accusation that cock jewelry is solely for sexual purposes is high inaccurate. Do cock rings serve a purpose for sex, Yes. They help men maintain erections during sex.. but do other men wear it just as a piece of jewelry.. YES also. Do you condemn women's genital piercings and nipple piercing as well leading to the decline in nudist acceptance.. ?? How many men have you meet wearing cock rings or penis rings, socially, and asked them why they desire to wear such things..? Maybe they could educate you a bit more about it. Your emphasis on blaming men's desire for genital adornment and the decreasing of nudist acceptance holds no merit at all. Again, opinions are acceptable but judgement of others is not.

Imagine sexualizing jewelry. That's some peak boomer.
Ironically, much like the human body, it's only sexual if you sexualize it. Jewelry is just that, regardless of location. What of someone that has a body tattoo that connects or is around the groin area? Banned forever? Gunna have folks remove their nipple piercings? People have foot fetishes, so you shouldn't paint your toes either.
Instead of saying jewelry is sexual and projecting your own insecurities on everyone else, stop looking at someone's self-expression and sexualizing it? Mind your own damn business and let people exist.

Ill listen to opinion, but if I think someone is lying about their intentions I will call it out. I wont respect it. My view has always been, what people choose to wear is their business, how I choose to interpret their reasons for doing so, is my business. When it becomes a topic for discussion we can exchange opinions I look at it like this, explaining what naturism is to a textile is sometimes quite difficult, they have a hard time removing the sex from nudity, then a guy with so much metal at his core he creates his own gravity well walks past. Expecting them to see naturism as normal just became a hundred times more difficult. You see it as just jewellery, other see it as you spoiling something they enjoy for your own personal gratification.
