Married Men but here as MALE ONLY profiles

Over our tenure here at TN, we've found that there's a number of MARRIED males who have MALE only profiles.  Just wondering what the motivation is to leave the MRS. out of this formula.....?

Could it be:
1) Their wife isn't a nudist....
2) They are nudists, but doesn't want their wife to know that they have a profile...
3) They aren't nudists at all but what a great way to meet people who are.....
4) This is one big fantasy and if their wife found out about this, their status would change to DIVORCED....

What is it?  Why are you here as just a male if you're married?  My wife and I have no secrets about nudism, our private life activities, or who we chat with, or what we do.  Why aren't you proud of the most important thing to you in life, and why don't you give her the respect she deserves....

Anxious to hear from all the MARRIED men out there with non-couple profiles....

Steve
Having recently (November) lost my wife of 40 years I find your remark highly insulting.  What do you know of love or marriage?  You appear to be here only to **** disturb and try to make yourself out to be the epitome of intelligence and integrity.  You may be intelligent but you certainly haveNO INTEGRITY.  Nor are you capable of reasonable discourse.  I am sure that Catbird loves and honors his wife as I do mine and your cheap shots will not change that one iota.  You appear to have an inordinate amount of rage within you which is very self destructive and your attempts to pass it on here are not really working as most see right through you.  You don't like this site so why do you keep coming back to it? I wish I could really tell you what I think of your cheap theatrics but I will not bring myself down to your level.
I am truly sorry for your loss, Jack.

By the way, regarding spelling there is a difference in Canadian/English spelling from American.  DanandJanette's usage IS correct.

Jack and catbird, I want to offer my sympathy.  I for one understand that what someone has to do is often not what they want to do.  There are many reasons a person can't stay at home but ned to be in a nursing home.  Most nursing homes have doctors that come visit rather than the patient having to go to them.  This is important if the person has trouble getting around.  If someone lives in a remote area, the response time time for an ambulance would be too long to save a person's life.  Thesse are just two of the most importnat reasons.

Actually, it is the American spelling that changed.  Check the Oxford English dictionary and you will find that the silent u is quite common. Canadians tend to use primarily English spelling with some few American ones.  I mainly use the American spelling on this and other American centred (another English spelling changed to centered in American) to avoid confusion.  By the way, your logic appears to be hubris and I don't think you know the meaning of the word integrity.

I am always amazed that any topic question will always end in some kind of head on collision. The Internet always proves that people will say things behind their computer screens that they would never say , face to face. This is where the concept of any group, having a common interest falls flat on it's face. Just venting.

Yes, it is futile and as far as I am concerned it ends now.  My sympathies also to Catbird and I am sorry such as statement as he made was aimed at you.  It is difficult enough without that kind of c**p from an unfeeling cretin.  Actually, I would be much more blunt in person than I am on the internet so it is probably just as well that I don't meet him face to face.

When I first signed up on TN, my wife was opposed to the photo requirement to be certified. It's not that she isn't a nudist, we have visited nude beaches and resorts often, but she was uneasy with posting the photo. A lot of her reluctance has disappeared but we found that it is impossible to change the status once established. I have written to TN and was told nothing could be done, therefore we're stuck  forever being listed as a single male. I did set up a couples site but it turned out to be so cumbersom to try to change all of our data, photos, friends, etc., that I gave up. So that's the way it is with us. It sucks but we got to live with it. If TN can change the programming so we can change to a couple, we'll be the first to do it. Thanks, Desert Rat and Wife.

Does it say anywhere in the original question "seeking only males" ? Seems most of us (respondents) Are honestly indicating that we are the male half of a married couple. Personally I'd be more concerned about single male falsely indicating married to reduce suspicion in their trolling. I also don't understand why a married couple wouldn't each have their own profile. That would eliminate the earlier confusion: was it Jen or Steve that asked? I'm not against couples profile it's just confusing.

Thanks for the good question, Steve.

Ps. although my wife can be scary at times, I openly admit to her that I have female friends and actually get along with women better than men, usually.

All of the above Steve, my wife thinks that nudists are a bunch of perverts....i Know this is not the case but there is no way i can get her to understand so I'm a married man with a MALE ONLY profile as I feel badly in saying what my darling wife thinks...there are so many nice people here

    Hello all,
I am happily married but unfortunately my wife Angie is not as keen on naturism as me so I only have a photo of me showing on here , I have never claimed to be anything I am not and I have stated in my profile about my married status.

Actually till now i dunno if am a nudist or just weird male who love to get nude alone in the middle of the night in my guess room or while am alone. Finally am sorry for my english, that's the reason why am not talking too much in chat room

Hey Baggy, nothing accusatory was meant by the original poster (my husband).  The reasons he listed were all valid answers given to us when asked the question of some married males who contacted us.  Please read post #21.

I have found that when seen as a nudist couple we tend to get a lot of attention from men and I mean A LOT. Hence there is really no need to advertise as my wife is not interested in having sex with lots of guys.
I dont know if I have my account listed as male or couple or what.  I am a married male, whose wife is not a social nudist, but is very much nudist at home.  She knows that I check this site everyday, and has no problems with that.  Maybe one day I can get her to join me and realize were not looked at for what our outward apperances are, but who we are inside.
That would be great, Nekkid!  I had no interest in this site or any nudist sites (mainly because they were all NINO) when my husband first joined.  LOL, about a month into the membership, after reading through all the forums, I became addicted.  Have her read through some of the threads, it might help to make her a little more comfortable with the idea of "social" nudism. My wife and I are both nudists - but like many women she is not so keen on having her photographs on the net.. WE did go on another nudist site as a couple, and were bombarded by many unsuitable "friends" requests- most of them for her as if she was an avialble single woman - and not part of a couple.  If only people would read the profile notes first!
Another interesting point - quite a few of the "couples" profiles on this and other nudist sites only feature pictures of the lady - so much for sex equality!

My wife is camera shy.  Web chat she doesn't like.  She is closet nudist but hope she will be out going into nudist resorts soon.  Thank you for your concerns.  But, it is worth it to mention about it.  I enjoy chatting and reading about nudists.  For I have long for.
My wife is also camera shy and only a home nudist at this time. This is the reason for "male" on my profile, even though I state that I am married. But there is always hope. We may be going to a clothing optional resort for our anniversary this month. So this may be her first step into a social nudist lifestyle!
That's great Paladin!  Let us know how things went if you go... Jen (p.s. Happy Anniversary!)

It could be that happily married men are here for male bonding.  Perhaps if their wives are not 100% supportive of the nudist lifestyle then the men can have the social interaction that they desire with out being around naked women...which their wives might not like/understand/support...   Just a thought...
or you could mind your own f******* business!
Ivr, so far out of roughly 45 respondents to a thread that has been here for 3 months, there have been only 3 people who've taken offense to my husband's topic of discussion. I'm amused that all three were gay and single.  Now I have to ask you, why do a few gay, single men take such great offense at a topic that is directed specifically towards straight, married men?   Jen p.s. Nice first post. Great way to introduce yourself to the folks around here.

Having read the mentioned posts as well as others, it is apparentto me that MOST of the married men that responded were offended by your husband's post. I read 14, 27, and 30. You say that of the first 21 post only 2 were offended and they were from gay men. That is NOT what I saw. And, yes, the original post seems advarsarial to me, as do most of the posts I read from "snugglebunny."
