I am wondering why some men prefer to shave their pubic hair. I know some will say because they like to look, feel etc, or their significant other likes the look/feel etc. But, especially for the older nudists, I wonder how many shave to hide the fact that they are getting gray down there and are trying to remail youthful looking.
Just a thought.
I myself have trimmed before, but not shaved at I don't forsee enjoying the maintenance of being shaved, i,e, I am too lazy.
Thoughts?

But half a year ago, I finally got some hair removal cream. and It turned out really well. nowadays I learned to carefully use a razor. so I'm always shaving it when it gets long.

I have never liked my body hair. I used to trim it and thought it looked good. Then I would let it go. I work out and noticed that if I trimmed my hair, you could see my muscles more. This turned into a very long thread. I wish at the beginning the original post included asking our age and at what age we started shaving. For me, I started in my 30s and now I'm 60. So smooth for that long. I've been waxed and lasered but the laser didn't catch grey so I have something like peach fuzz down there which I remove with Nair or Veet. I shave balls and crack and pits.

I don't shave my pubic hair but trim it very short, and i do it just because i think it looks much better, and not because i have any grey because i don't. I would also feel a bit self conscious going to a naturist place with it looking untidy.

Also, I did have an operation when 23 and was shaved from arse to belly button, so never been able to bare to grow it back there. I'm now 63 and have no grey hairs down there, only in my beard and receding hairline. :(

Im sorry, but I could never wrap my head around saying shaving makes you look like a child. Believing that is like saying I drink or gamble so I dont look like a child. If thats the assumption about shaving than why even be nude. Because thats what children are comfortable with and you wouldnt want to be nude like a child. Never saw anything like this that carries so much controversy. Yet I see so many adults at nude venues that shave anymore and people find it accepting. Ive never met another nude person that looked at me and said " my God.... Youre bare down there"! Come on people, get over it.
